Rustic coffee company is our go to place for breakfast, anytime of day. On a recent visit we were surprised to find the new addition of cake jars, and they did not disappoint. I love my sour dough and through the partner of Charlie I work with I was made aware that her baking skills extend to making lovely sour dough loaves. I ordered a couple and in a very bizarre exchange on a pub car park, observing appropriate social distancing, Charlie passed on two loaves! Oh my word they were stunning and were better than my usual supplier in Clitheroe! Thank you so much Charlie and we are doing it again tomorrow! You are The Baking Boss in my mind! Steve... Great little bustling cafe/coffeehouse in Macc centre. Vegan breakfast really nice- especially veggie stuff- tomatoes and mushrooms cooked perfectly. Wouldn’t dream of marking down for this but the cafe had a really strong aroma of frying meat. Most people won’t care but it’s something to be mindful of when offering vegan options.... Read more

Me and my girlfriend when for afternoon tea. We had a cappuccino, latte, freshly made selection of sandwiches, quiche and cakes. The owner came over to us and explained what selection we had. She was very friendly and seemed proud of her creations. Everything was handmade and tasted superb. We decided to order 2 specials for a meal after. 1 was peri peri chicken with cous cous and salad and hallumi, flat bread, salad, fresh houmous and mixed beans. Although this sounds basic she paid great attention to detail, dressing my peri peri cous cous and salad with fresh lemon juice. She also made sure every flavour on the plate was well balanced. You could tell she was a skilled chef who knew how these traditional dishes tasted. I was well impressed at how such a small and cosy place could replicate the detail of a fine dine restaurant. The 2 meals came in costing only £15. I highly recommend this place and will be back again soon.... Read more

By far the best cafe in town. The selection of coffees is brilliant, with a range of origins and flavours. I went for a V60 filter coffee which was an absolute feast for my taste buds and a sandwich which was cooked timely and was delicious. All of this topped with great service and super friendly staff.... Read more

We normally visit for the outstanding breakfast with a lovely smooth latte but today as it was mid afternoon we opted for a great big slice of homemade Chocolate and Peanut Butter cake..
