26th Sep 2024 (17 days ago)We decided to use Andrew J Nowell & Co after speaking to a number of agents in the area and prior to putting our property on the market. We found Nick to be professional, measured and clear about the process and his approach to selling our home. His appraisal of the house and how his company would sell it was unique and gave us confidence to proceed with him. He arranged for all of his team to visit our house so that they would have a true view of the property and be able to convey it's selling points to anyone enquiring. We dealt with Will, Carolyn and Neil all of whom were very helpful and proactive, communicating quickly when responding to viewing queries and following up regularly with the purchaser, as the process progressed. The marketing and photography was also very good and after receiving a number of viewings and offers, Nick personally advised us on how to proceed for the best result. I thank them for their help and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing for an easy sale process!

Thanks to Jackie and the entire team, we found our forever home without any stress. The entire process took just six weeks, from our initial viewing to completion, which was incredible! Whenever we needed assistance, whether it was accessing the house before the exchange or addressing any concerns, there was always someone available to help. Jackie was an absolute delight to work with; she was always helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Their customer service is truly exceptional! Highly recommend!

Very responsive and super fast sale in which property was on the market less than 2 weeks when we received the offer in which we accepted. Louise in particular maintained excellent communications and dealt with ongoing issues well. I am pleased I chose Bridgfords over others agents in the village and would use them again.- 16th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)After trying to contact multiple local estate agents to find a property to rent, I finally had the pleasure of coming across Bridgfords. A week after viewing and I am now in a property that is perfect. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Lian. He has been great throughout the whole process and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. 100% would recommend to anybody who is trying to find a property in the rental sector, you will not be disappointed with the level of service and care shown.
10th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)We have been searching for a flat to rent, and had spoken to a few agents - some were incompetent I have to say. Then we found a flat that met what we were looking for. Our daughter visited it and was shown around by Daisy Barber. Initially our application was knocked back but we persevered and had many conversations and exchanged many messages with Daisy. The process became a little complicated, but throughout Daisy was extremely patient and professional. Her loyalty of course was to your client, but her communication skills were excellent: responses to e-mails were prompt and informative; she was always at the end of the telephone if I had questions or needed advice; and unprompted updates were forthcoming. Daisy clearly has good interpersonal skills and we have thanked her, and wished her luck for the future, although I don’t think she will need luck. I have no hesitation in writing a review and had intended to write to the registered office in Bournmouth but alas couldn’t find an e-mail address. Please pass on this review to management. She’s found us tenants quickly and efficiently and has been on hand for advice and guidance throughout. I would thoroughly recommend dealing with Debbie as she’s an experienced and knowledgeable professional.

18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
8th Oct 2024 (5 days ago)We appointed Alan Lee to sell our house having been recommended by a family member. Honestly, the whole experience was fantastic. After having a valuation, there were no pushy follow up calls. When we decided to go ahead, the photos were fantastic and showed a true representation of our house. Also, the the video was excellent! The staff were outstanding, they communicated well all round. We mainly dealt with Abbey who was phenomenal, nothing was too much trouble. Whoever you spoke to, everyone was clued up with what was going on with our property. We would 100% recommend this company to sell your house. They certainly made, what can be a stressful situation, a smooth process. Thank you so very much!

She was knowledgeable, replied to any queries in a timely fashion and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend buying a home through them and if get to work with Rita you will be very lucky.

They have been professional, helpful and proactive throughout the process; which was almost six months in our case. Thank you to the team, especially Nick, he has been absolutely amazing. I can't recommend James & James enough.
5th Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
