Myself on a personal experience is we used this estate agent based on reviews however my personal experience has been different. Although we never went fully on the market we were happy to take viewings as and when someone who was interested in a 4 bed come up as that suited us our situation as we found we got people who were in a right position. My faults with the company is lack of communication everything done by email, I hardly ever use my emails! What's wrong with ringing? Also never no feedback constant chasing of feedbacks, different agents showing buyers but knew nothing about the property or area? I found I never built a rapport with the agents as I never had any contact with them. I find them a bit behind the times and I am disappointed at my experience. Not the worst agents but not the best either, the staff mainly Craig who we met were friendly enough. .... Read more

Tingdene stepped in after my flat sale using another Agent fell through and they couldn't have done enough for me. Craig got me four viewings in just over a week out of which I received two offers and we managed to complete the sale a few days ago. Absolutely brilliant, would recommend them to anyone... The staff were friendly and seemed professional when they provided their valuation so we agreed to sell our house with them. Biggest mistake we ever made. Our house sold on the second viewing. After a couple of months the top end of the chain broke however Tingdene insisted I waited for my Vendor to find another property. I was not happy with this approach so they sent me some potential new properties they were also marketing that they thought would be suitable for our needs. I viewed one property to find it totally unsuitable. I told the sales negotiator that I was going to look at a brand new build. He did not appear happy with this news. We then decided to reserve a brand new build which did not sit well with Tingdene. They told me I couldn't buy a new build as it had the potential to run over which would mean my sale could fall through and they would have to remarket my property. They hadn't even spoken to my buyer nor my buyers buyer. Their main concern was losing my buyers sale as I believe that property broke the ceiling price for that street and their sales negotiator actually said that to me on a very heated telephone conversation. The sales negotiator became very upset, raised his tone and was extremely rude and very unprofessional blaming me for the chain breaking. They then became extremely difficult to deal with and were extremely uncommunicative through the rest of the process. I had to chase daily for any upddate. I sent an email with feedback of my experience with Tingdene to the Area Manager, however that didn't even get acknowledged let alone a response. I could go into a lot more detail however my advice would be to avoid this firm at all costs.... Read more

Firstly I would mention that the staff at Tingdene are very freindly. The communication we received was not good we had to continually ask for updates. I continually said about making decor and carpets neutral and aking the dwarf garden wall down to make garden more open and spacious but was told not to. After doing these things, we sold but at a lower price than we wanted When we sold for higher price with another estate agents Tingdene were very nice about it as they couldn't push their buyer any higher and wished us all the best.... When I sold and purchased through Tingdene earlier this year they made the experience a whole lot easier, they were always on hand to answer my questions and give me updates a long the way. Even though we didn't end up purchasing a property through Tingdene, Craig was brilliant and he couldn't have tried more to go above and beyond. He showed us around a house, listened to our ideas for improvement and answered our questions in a knowledgable and professional manner. He also called me to make me aware of a new property on the market as he thought it would be of interest to me and wished me all the best when I told him we had found one elsewhere!
