Pretty poor experience over all with the marketing of our property. Over valued the property to secure the contract to sell then suggested a reduction in the asking price at the end of the cooling off period. We knew the market was difficult and were not surprised to only get 4 viewings in a nine month period despite dropping the price by 6%. Had to repeatedly chase agent for feedback and effectively received none after receiving no contact from agent for almost 4 months removed the property from the market. I do not believe the property was actively marketed apart from being placed on rightmove. Would not use again to sell a property.

After 4 years of residency's at this property, the way you responded to any issues regarding with the property's function, was unbelievable disrespectful, insulted and totally disregarded.
It took 2-3 months to fix an issue, which was required 5 minutes work.

When renting an apartment, in the event of technical problems that reporting trouble always takes a long time for reactions from the owner and the agency, I strongly do not recommend it. At the end of the lease, after moving out, more than 2 weeks of waiting for the return of the deposit, with the agency trying to extort some fraudulent sums

I would really not recommend this agency, and mainly because of their customer survice or if i have to specify of the attitude of their agents. Very very rude and unprofessional. I called to apply for a house and did not receive the application form for the other person i wanted to apply with ,or even a further answer at least that i do not pass their criteria.
I did not even had a chance to visit the house.
Very dissapointed with this agency.

Henderson Connellan in Corby have proved to be the best, most professional estate agent, I have ever come across. My house had been on the market for 18 months with no offers. It took them just over 3 weeks to find a buyer & the sale completed in under 10 weeks from the initial viewing!
What sets them apart from the rest?
First & foremost there was a willingness from the team to become au fait with my property. My initial appointment was with Lee but having then appointed them as my agent, Phil, Christie & Will all came & I showed them around so they all had an understanding of the property. The sale did come through Will but he was also ably backed up by Lee, Phil & Christie as & when required.
Communication is so very important & as a main point of contact Will was absolutely first class! The interesting point for me was that on the day of completion, my purchasers were also singing his praises. Clearly he had not just done an excellent job for me! Nothing was ever too much for Will in my sale. I am very grateful to him for this. The ability to communicate with both parties is essential & finding empathy to facilitate a deal is so very important - the team have this ability in abundance.
The marketing of the house was second to none. The virtual tour was superb & instantly meant that you would not get timewasters - so many who turn up for a "snoop." Time is money for all parties & virtual tours mean that potential purchasers are generally serious when they book a viewing.
I do speak from experience, believe me! Going with the wrong estate agent will cost time & potentially lots of money & moreover give you grief - at a time when you do not need it.
INVITE HENDERSON CONNELLAN IN AS A FIRST CHOICE & AVOID THE ABOVE.
Listen to them as they will listen to you. Selling a property is a very stressful time in your life. Make it easier by picking the correct estate agent in the first place - I am very grateful to all in the Corby office & I am sure that Kettering & Market Harborough will operate in exactly the same professional manner.

I think over the time our house was on the market I spoke to each member of the sales team at least once and they were all very friendly and helpful. Didn’t have a great experience, all well and good at the start but they overpriced the property which led to fewer viewings but then I was asked to constantly reduce price. Communication was very poor with no feedback on most viewings. After a ten month wait to sell the property I felt the estate agent wanted congratulations whereas after an expensive and stressful time all I felt was disappointment.

Phil dealt with the sale, with some input from Will, Chrissie who done a fantastic discription of the property for sale, was allways cheerful.
It was a very difficult time for our family with the loss of a loved on, and an admition to a care home for my dear step mum.
I can say Phil went over and above expectations, and congratulate Henderson Connellan on there brilliant professional service.
I do hope other agents solictors read this and aspire to these standards.
Phone calls were allways returned nothing was to much trouble rite down to checking the heating security to the property, as we lived 180 miles away.
What I liked is the good old fashioned customer care.
This sale was a power of Attorney sale, making the sale stressful in dealing with another person's finance.
Phil you should be proud of your Manor, the way you conduct your self.

I have to say Christie was amazing! Kept in constant contact with updates and advice. Kept me reassured when the process did not go quite to plan (solicitors). Felt like I was ringing/messaging a friend for help with the way Christie responded. Nothing felt that it was to much hassle - which I’m sure it was as it was a long process with our house being a shared ownership sale!

Upon meeting lee at my property for the first time, lee presented himself very well and showed he has an extensive amount of industry knowledge, was understanding of my needs and reassuring.

Dealing with Laura and co has been very easy. we are currently renting a HMO property through Henderson and Connellan and have had little to no problems at all. all emails and queries we raised was answered straight away. We did have a problem with our internet router, but Laura came round the property the next day and sorted it herself. Winner winner chicken dinner.

In my short time working with Laura and Sarah at Henderson Connellan on a rental, I have been very impressed by the level of professionalism and drive. Before the property was available, they visited several time to take measurements, pictures, gauge progress, communicated frequently and started the pre-marketing campaign before property completion. The result was tenants in day after it was available! Great service, and hope they continue the excellent level of service.

Absolutely awful company. Would never rent from them again. They've completely put me off estate agents. Never sorted out mould issues in the house, even when the walls were black, just got fobbed off all the time. Would not recommend ever.

Right from the moment one of the directors - Lee Adams - stepped into our home, we had a feeling we were in good, professional hands. The other director - Phil Caldwell - and his team of sales agents also came to view the house, so that they knew what they were selling, this was something that we'd not experienced before. It made us feel like they were focussed and totally engaged in the sale.
The fact that they used a pro photographer bolstered that feeling and once all the pictures were done and the listing was live we just had to wait.
We put it on the market just before Christmas and the week following new year, Jesse Moffat (sales) arranged for 3 viewings on the same day. Spectacular!
After the first viewing, the buyer put in an offer which we accepted and we took it off the market.
We were very impressed with HC in the way they handled the sale going forward, keeping us informed and being helpful with regards to 'what happens next'.
All in all, a very smooth transaction and selling process. I would highly recommend HC to anyone!
