The agents from West 9 are simply unhelpful. I've worked with a few other agencies in the past that were much better than West 9, and I will hopefully never have to deal with this agency after I move out from my current flat! Throughout my rental process, I had questions and requests that were completely ignored - they do not reply to emails or return calls, so you end up chasing them which becomes frustrating.
Upon move in, our flat had trash in it and the plumbing didn't work. We only got one key, had to pay for the previous tenant's electricity debt, and had no maintenance contact until a couple of days later (which was inconvenient to say the least given that we had no hot water for 2 days upon move in). Inventory and final rental agreements were also only provided a few weeks after move-in. The whole thing was a mess!
It's been a couple of months and things are not sorted yet despite the fact that we pay a lot for rent and we have been trying to deal directly with the landlord. We now have to wait months until we can move out and get a flat which we can feel at home. It's really sad because we wanted to be done moving for the foreseeable future.
I would not recommend this agency to anyone as you can certainly get much better and more upfront service elsewhere. If they are the only ones to manage the flat you want, just set your expectations properly for lack of responsiveness and rudeness. If you can, don't make any requests at the risk of being mocked and verbally attacked!
