16th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)I recently assisted a friend in moving out of a London apartment she had rented through this agency. Unfortunately, our experience with the agency’s representative was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. My friend, who is currently outside the UK, had asked me to collect her remaining belongings and return the keys on her behalf. When we arrived simply to do this, the agent showed up and, in an almost assault-like manner, very aggressively yanked the keys out of my other friend’s hands. We were not refusing to hand them over at all — we were simply holding them because we were in the midst of packing up her things. This was an unnecessarily physical and intimidating act that felt entirely out of line. The agent behaved rudely and treated us as if we were second-class citizens, even though we were only there to help peacefully resolve the situation on behalf of someone who couldn’t be present herself. At no point did we cause any disturbance; we were simply doing what was asked of us. It is completely unacceptable for a business representative to use physical aggression or intimidation in any circumstance. We do understand that the agency may have had prior problems with our friend — the tenant who is currently not in the UK. However, we were not her, and we had nothing to do with any prior disputes. The disrespect and aggression we were shown were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. What’s more, the incident left my friend in tears, highlighting just how distressing and unwarranted the agent’s behavior was. No one should ever be made to feel unsafe or humiliated in a situation like this. One staff member’s actions reflect the entire business, and based on this encounter, it’s clear that no one should have to deal with an agency that treats people this way. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect is beyond disappointing, and I strongly caution others to stay away from this agency entirely.
5th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)I started looking for an apartment on Bank Holiday Monday in late May. I was delighted to encounter the team at Dexters who were keen to assist. I was greeted by Cory who I found to be interested in me and my criteria. A great conversation followed by a number of viewings facilitated across the patch. During the viewings I received a professional yet really personable response, great knowledge and confidence building for me as it is my first time renting and everything was new to me. I had so many questions and when Corey and I realised that I wished to expand my criteria, Corey facilitated alternatives and despite his having other customers to deal with intermittently I was able to receive a truly comprehensive service from him. We viewed 7 properties that day, I was so impressed to have achieved so much in one day, Luke also assisted in answering my queries later in the day and provided me with furniture rental information to help me consider all cost planning when considering furnished and unfurnished options. I got a superb service from Dexters and thank Corey particularly for making me feel comfortable, providing all the information I needed and providing me so many great opportunities to view in one day! 11th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Fake review by Andrew N as Companies House shows Kubie Gold Associates Limited was incorporated on 2 June 2010, so they've been operating as a registered company for around 15 years, they can't be managing his property for 28 years! I have rented a flat in a building managed by Kubie Gold for some years, and this has been my worst experience with any property management company. The problems are consistent and ongoing: repairs are handled slowly, often left incomplete, and require repeated chasing. Communal areas are cleaned infrequently, if at all. When complaints are raised — including through my landlord, who confirms they contact Kubie Gold directly — nothing changes. There is no follow-up, no accountability, and no visible improvement. If you are a resident experiencing similar issues, be aware that Kubie Gold is registered with The Property Ombudsman. If your complaint is not resolved within eight weeks of being formally raised, you have the right to escalate it directly to the Ombudsman, who can require the company to take action and award compensation. Do not let complaints be ignored indefinitely — there is a formal process and you are entitled to use it. I would urge anyone considering a property managed by Kubie Gold to ask detailed questions about how repairs are tracked, how complaints are resolved, and what the communal maintenance schedule looks like — and to get answers in writing.

18th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)We bought our first home property by Plaza Estates through Rodney Symington estate agent. Rodney ticked all the boxes from our first viewing. Humble, agile, reachable, kind, informative are all qualities that came through in the process. He sees through the buyer's lens as well, not just the seller's. Usually when you kick off conveyancing for a property you're purchasing, estate agents will fall off the grid. Rodney was present every step of the way, facilitating matters when they stalled with the seller's solicitor in a kind, polite and professional matter to keep the ball rolling. Rodney, thank you for making this buying experience in London pleasant for us as first time buyers. For those out there looking to buy or sell, I cannot recommend enough Rodney and Plaza Estates. They will be our first choice in the future.

18th Jul 2021 (4 years ago)Having shopped here over many years, I recommended you to a friend whom I accompanied and was appalled by the lack of interest we received. I had to ask for assistance and upon the purchase by my friend of a sofa the person concerned showed little interest in the sale and sat behind her computer for the duration. My friend who purchased the sofa says he will not be returning to your shop. He was also quoted one price for delivery of £50 which on delivery was £85.

Communication has always been straightforward, fast, and professional, which is something not always easy to find with estate agents. Any issue or query was handled promptly, and I always felt there was someone available who genuinely cared about resolving things rather than just passing matters around. The more personal approach of a smaller independent agency really shows in the quality of service. Friendly, efficient, and reliable throughout the tenancy. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent through an agent they can actually trust.
