Michael Jones Estate Agents have 6 branches and they mainly list properties in BN15, BN16, BN11, BN14, BN14 and BN11. Over the last 6 months, they've listed 632 properties, with an average time to sale of 14 weeks.
Looking to buy somewhere in Worthing and out of all the agents we've dealt with Michael Jones would come firmly on the bottom of my list. The two agents we had dealings with were uninformed about the properties, seemed to want to be somewhere else and generally had no warmth or customer service, this is probably the biggest purchase I'll make in my life so I expect to be treated with a little bit of empathy. They messed us around with one viewing so much we cancelled it. Warning to buyers, they do not have your best interests at hand. Will not be using on our continuing search, their loss.
Shower never worked properly .Complained time and time again and eventually a plumber came out to fix it.
Despite claiming he put the shower in originally.
He didn't know what type of shower it was.
After about two weeks the same problems arose.
This happened about 5 times and it was never fixed properly.
In the end we gave up.
Had cold showers and went swimming every weekend to use their facilities.
Now we have gone somewhere else they are refusing to give us our deposit back.
Worst property agent I have come accross
I was very impressed with Michael Jones' understanding of the special requirements of my property (being a flat above a food premises with a short lease). The team did a good job with the particulars and photographs and immediately arranged viewings. I had accepted an offer in a week. They liaised with my tenant and took care of everything. They were able to help the buyer secure a mortgage, which can be difficult because of the limited number of lenders prepared to lend on flats over commercial properties. The team at Michael Jones were polite and responsive throughout the process and I feel the fee charged is fair given the time and effort they put in. I would certainly recommend them.
