Appalling. Wish we had not signed a sole agent contract!
- Left the house unlocked and unattended after a viewing with lights on and candles burning. They have said they tried to contact me, which they did, and I informed them i was on my way home, only for them to have left anyway.
- Agents do not take the time to view the property before showing. Left it until a short time before the first showing...go figure if a viewer turns up shortly after them
- Do not provide (adequate) weekend cover - only one agent working until lunchtime on a Saturday to facilitate viewings - They have said they have someone working, which i'm sure they do, however they were never available when booking viewings in.
- Do not let you know when people cancel viewings - this is a wider issue of them booking viewings outside of office hours and not ensuring there is the ability for someone to let you know they have cancelled.
- Book out of office hours with no contact method for viewer/Vendor - as above
- 4 missed calls, a text message and 2 emails for a next day viewing for people who had not even had their house valued - this was all within about 20mins, do not be fooled by their reply
- Unable to adequately screen viewers and describe location of property accurately - more than 50% of people didn't know where the house was in relation to local shops etc so not sure how this can be considered accurate.
- Will do everything possible not to have to show someone round themselves - it was only after i protested that they began offering to undertake viewings, otherwise they never had anyone free before then.
We have experienced a catalogue of poor experiences with this branch that demonstrate gross incompetence and unprofessionalism. The event where the sales rep was asked to leave was following the barrage and rush of contact to book in a viewing, i then found out the viewer had not even had their property valued. They will not think twice about wasting your time, but are a lot more precious about their own. Please think twice before using.... Read more
