Prospective tenants avoid. Unprofessional chancers. Of a £923 deposit, they cheekily asked to keep £869: £200 for cleaning (we cleaned it nicely), £300 for redecoration (like what?), £200 for gardening (we mowed and trimmed it regularly...), and £169 for "other" (aka a new fridge and some grouting resealing). Do people actually agree to demands like that? Also, throughout the 3 years we were tenants, faults often went many weeks before any kind of acknowledgement (let alone fixing), and property inspectors sometimes came round to inspect without any notice....
