Sharing this as constructive feedback. I travelled a long distance by public transport for a 3:30 pm viewing and was given a Google Maps link that led to the wrong location. I waited in the rain and called the agency when I realised the issue.
Instead of acknowledging the incorrect link, the male staff member I spoke with was dismissive and placed the responsibility on me to double-check the postcode. I was asked to reach the property within an unrealistic timeframe, despite explaining there was no bus, I hadn’t brought a car, and it was a long walk in the rain. The tone felt rude and lacking empathy.
The viewing eventually took place but felt rushed. While the property was well presented and a detailed handout was provided, clearer communication, accountability, and a more respectful approach would have made a big difference.
