They have been generally good to deal with and have been efficient. Where there have been minor errors and changes to sort out, these have been dealt with promptly. I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

We have been very reassured and comfortable with all our dealings with Spencer & Leigh. Thanks to James's initial marketing advice; Sarah & her colleague's dealings with interested parties and Jodie's efficient administration, we ultimately had offers from everyone that viewed and exceeded our price expectations when a sale was agreed after just 1 week on the market.

While renting with them they seemed to be quite considerate agents, but that depends on the landlord not them. However as soon as you decide to leave they do not care and will try and charge you for every little thing even if you have been in constant communication with them, about the problems, throughout.
On check in they took 70 photos and on check out they took 140. That should speak volumes! A lot of the check out photos were things that they had "just found" but were in fact there when we moved in just not noted on the check in photos.
Make sure you do your own check in, with photos, of every single scratch and mark.
They were happy for us to live with black mould during our tenancy, advising us to open a window for ventilation and that it happens because it is an outside wall. Then tried to charge us for mould that had grown when we hadn't been in the property for a month, as we had moved.
Classic estate agents who only care about money and the landlords. Very unhelpful, so you will have to spend a lot of time and effort fighting against them.
