I just wanted to leave a review for Lana at Tucker Gardner. She made a big impression on me. It's such a stressful process trying to find a property and Lana made the viewing so much less stressful. I noticed how caring and considerate she was towards the owners of the property, and she sold the property in the best possible light. If I was selling I would feel very reassured to know that someone was selling my property who I can trust and who is doing such a great job of it. And she was very kind to me too, taking time to tell me about the area and even show me some lovely things in Ely. She's a delight and I just wanted to thank her for giving me a lovely time in the midst of an otherwise stressful time property searching. Thank you Lana ??????... Read more

In our first dealings with tucker gardner they have been good. So a big thank you harriet and kacsper. How ever, we have had issues constantly since moving into our rented property. We experienced before the winter months problems with our heating and boiler, to which where condemend while we had moved in. This was a long process and we was with out heating for two months and then no hot water for a week. Once resolved, they kindly got in touch with our landlord who also agreed on one weeks rent refund. Since this has been fixed, we have experienced pests coming from the orignal carpets to which still is on going after our third treatment. and on our recent electrical health and safety tests have since failed, and the electriction wanted to condem them but didnt want to leave us with out. We are still yet to recieve any paper work showing what has failed and that needs replacing, and no reply as to when this will be sorted. So far we have been making contact with our new property manager, and also made complaints and no responce or call backs on when these on going issue will be resolved. Or any sign of the electrical health saftey report. With these health and saftey issues we are currently experiencing this now putting us at risk. With our own health and mental wellbeing. We wouldnt understand had we bought a house with these issue and would get them sorted our selfs, however this is a rented property, and should be fit to live in. We had also arranged to have a face to face meeting with a member of their team on saturday 14th, on arrival to their building during so called opening times; they where closed, so time taken of work and fuel expencies we have now lost also.... Landlords, save yourselves the stress and financial loss: look elsewhere!!! My experience with TuckerGardner has been a masterclass in property management failure at every level, from junior staff to senior management: *Operational Negligence:* Checkouts were poorly executed and incomplete, leaving me to deal with unresolved issues leading to urgent repairs that had to be carried out long after the previous tenancy ended, with no funds left aside to cover them. *Zero Communication:* Simple emails went unanswered for weeks at a time. I had to constantly chase them for basic updates that should have been provided proactively. **Shockingly, it was only when I threatened to escalate the matter to the Property Ombudsman that I finally received a response.** *Exorbitant Costs:* Their fees are unjustified compared to the "service delivered". I have since moved to a local agent for a management fee that is nearly 40% lower. The lack of accountability and technical follow-up is unacceptable for a "premium" agency. Do not trust them with your property!!!... Read more

We wish we had never rented through Tucker Gardner. Please don't make our mistake. You will be dealing with Countrywide Lettings. In several years as tenants, we experienced consistent dishonesty, obfuscation, and a complete lack of accountability. Basic questions, such as where our allocated car bay actually is, went unanswered for years. Agents were extremely hostile, and attempted to charge us for standard wear and tear, including a worn toilet seat, only backing down when we escalated to the Housing Ombudsman. At that point, the agent vanished from the business. When we tried to move from a fixed to a rolling contract, the renewals agent told us flatly it wasn't possible. We went around him directly to the landlord. It was possible immediately. Portfolio managers rotate every few months. We had at least four. The agents we encountered were routinely rude and appeared to operate in their own interest rather than ours or the landlord's. When one became downright abusive, sending emails in red text accusing us of multiple, contradicting reasons why standard wear and tear was our fault, Countrywide repeatedly refused to assign us a new agent, leaving us stuck with someone we felt uncomfortable and unsafe with. However pleasant the local Tucker Gardner agents may seem, remember that you will ultimately be dealing with Countrywide Lettings. We used Countrywide as mortgage brokers and were treated well. As tenants, the experience was the opposite. We can only conclude that they treat people according to the power they hold in the relationship. Tenants, who have little, are treated accordingly. When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.... Read more
