My early contacts with their team were all positive and they got the business because I thought theirs was the most realistic estimate and sales plan. Their charges were also very reasonable.
However, they really pulled out all the stops when we had to deal with a long chain to complete the sale. Jackie’s customer service was exemplary, as she dealt with my many phone calls with endless patience and chased up multiple estate agents and solicitors.

Aldred lettings have always been a delight and have made sure everything went very smoothly for me, making both renting and ending a tenancy to start a new one a very positive experience. I had viewed a property through Larkes at one point, which were very unhelpful and it was not a very professional interaction. There was no comparison when it came to Aldreds lettings. They have been so helpful and always made me feel that both the tenant and the landlords best interests were put first.

A massive thank you to David and the Aldreds staff for ensuring my application and move was efficient, calm and easy to understand. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I've never had a bad experience before like this. Especially with an estate agency.
Myself and my husband were looking around for rental properties, and enquired about one that was being advertised by Aldred's. I was called back by a rather rude woman who became annoyed with me upon telling her that a viewing 2 hours from the initial phone call was too short notice, as I don't drive and my husband was at work.
I pulled a few strings and managed to make it work, and called back and was met with the same woman, with equally as rude of an attitude.
The viewing itself was rather hurried. The estate agent didn't really show us around, either. She just stayed by the backdoor, and left us to it. The place smelt like wet dog, and she assured us that it's because it hadn't "been aired out in a while". She even looked like she didn't believe what she was telling us. Even a blind person could see the carpets were disgusting, and no one had made an effort to clean them.
All in all, If you want to be spoken to rather rudely, and be shown around a property by an uninterested estate agent, then this is the place for you.
I'll certainly make the effort to avoid having to deal with this place again, unless significant change is made.

Aldreds Great Yarmouth recently completed the sale of our chalet at Winterton. From the outset Chris Fielding viewed and advised. agreed a fair price for fees and had the property on Rightmove within the day. Within a week buyers viewed and an asking price offer from a buyer was accepted
Bronwyn Moxey handled the sale expertly thereafter through to completion. Always available to follow our wishes and provide counsel in what turned out to be a very protracted re mortgage and lease scenario whilst set against the background of rapid market change this Autumn.
Weekly updates, and smooth liaison with our Solicitors further Instilled confidence as we lived away from the area and provided a very personal touch thankyou.

We were buying from 150 miles away over a 9 month period but the office always kept us up to date with properties that we may like.
On the various occasions that we wanted block viewings they were always made to ensure that enough time between appointments.
We visited the office and any problems or queries that we had in relation to either an area or property the information was always given in a professional, polite and in confidence matter.
We could not fault the service we were provided with.

Absolutely useless had our property on the market 4 months not a single viewing finished our sole agency agreement with Aldreds and we decided to go with another local estate agent within a week the new estate agent has sold our house . Sorry it seems to me Aldreds wasn't doing their job correctly.

I rented for two years from Aldreds Stalham office.when I moved in house paintwork was grubby and the carpets more so. By their own admission. I have had to request chiminey to be cleaned something that by law they are responsible for. Disrepair took an age to resolve. And done to the cheapest standards not through the workmen's fault ie had replacement radiator workmen requested one that was ment to be installed for that size room. No was the answer so small one installed. Coal fire is cracked and grate in fire to small.only form of heating downstairs bar 1 convector heater in hall. Had more than 10 home inspections in 24 months .Gave themmore than £13.000
As i am leaving for new property requested my deposit back. I have been stopped money as according to them the bathroom needs domestic cleaning as do the cupboards.. WHAT A CROCK...bathroom is all tiled and was cleaned..as we're the cupboards. .. absolutely knew they would withold some of my deposit just because they can....this is an honest account and review I have all paperwork to validate my review......in summary over priced poorly maintained property with overbearing inspection. And at the end of your tenancy be prepared to be short changed out of your deposit..
