Great experience selling our house - Petty's was very professional throughout and guided us through the process and explained all aspects thoroughly to help us achieve a good price. Would recommend highly.
After showing interest in an apartment in Snaresbrook and arranging a viewing by phone, I received an email confirming the address and time for the viewing. As it turned out, I was given the wrong postcode and therefore arrived at the wrong address, a 20 minute walk away from where the property was actually located. I received a call from Du Preez Botha who asked me where I was and, after explaining to him that he had indeed given me the wrong postcode he said "well I had the same postcode as you and have never been here before myself and I've managed to find it". Although I should have checked the name of the road itself as well as the postcode, I did only use the postcode as I was using my google maps app. Estate agents are by nature rather arrogant people who know the rental market well, they have a lot of interest in each property. Having said this, if a mistake is made on one's part, one should accept this, not blame the client. He did apologise, although this didn't feel too sincere. I also work in a very busy office where I am responsible for providing addresses to clients. So a word of advice from me would be to: A. double check both the number / name and street name and B. make sure the postcode provided to a potential client matches the address. In this way the time wasted for both parties will be avoided.
I am extremely happy with the service that is provided by the experts of home choice. Being a first time home buyer, I was facing a lot of problem; they helped me to get the best house and the financial support that I needed to buy the house.
I arranged an appointment to see the property for 6.00 then Dee turned up 7.30 with his friend. We accessed the property the electricity wasn't working. the rent was £1,050.00 per month the house was in a terrible state i asked if he would confirm that the property would be amended up to scratch as described on the website he replied yes but if you pay £50.00 a month more then I will do this to you standard! my reply was this is a managed property which clearly wasn't managed properly and you are asking me to pay up!! To which he smirked and told me i was asking too much for the moldy items to be replaced for the sagging flooring to be straightened for the broken cupboards to be repaired. He didn't have a clue about the property i had to view it it in dark. Awful! not to mention the giant rats that were scurrying along whilst i waited for the duo to arrive.
Laraine, and the team at Martin & Co Wanstead were brilliant in assisting us with our property search. They showed us several properties that were all bang on our brief and I’m pleased to say we’ve now moved in to one of them. We would especially like to thank Laraine who was always on hand to answer any questions we had day or night and made the whole process much easier. We would defiantly recommend Martin & Co Wanstead for your next property search.

Sadly an awful experience with this estate agent. As tenants, they tried to rip us off on the deposit and I had to take them to the alternative dispute resolution service just to get my money back. I would never use them again. I also phoned up as a potential seller and had a bad experience, poor knowledge of the local market and received no viewings compared to other estate agents who booked in many viewings. DO NOT USE as a tenant, landlord, buyer or seller!
I've just rented a house through Your Move Forest Gate and been really impressed by the service from Kyri Kyriacou. He was extremely patient and accommodating throughout, and really went the extra mile to ensure the tenancy worked for both me and my landlord. Great work.
It all started smoothly, I viewed a property to rent in Forest Hill with Jake, made an offer, offer was accepted. The flat required some work so we agreed upon renovation and some basic furniture. I paid all the fees and submitted all documentation in a timely manner and I also gave my 30 days notice. After the payment had been done for the admin fees to Your-Move agency with Shannika, everything went silent. I was chasing them on a daily basis to get some updates in regards to my future move. Jake went on holiday and Shannika was supposed to follow up. Nobody would pick up my calls. When I was in luck after 5 consecutive days of chasing and Shannika picked up my call she had the audacity to lie that she never got the messages. While approaching the move in date of 26th April I was getting rather anxious as I received no news on the status of the work (and the 26th was my move out date as well). Again I was the one who was constantly chasing and on the 25th, one day prior to my so called move in date I was told that it had to be pushed back to the 28th April, on a Saturday. Again no communication in the following 2 days so I got sick of it and went to the office to have a discussion with the manager. Guess what, no work had been done whatsoever, there was absolutely no furniture and I was close to handing over my keys and check out of my flat. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The branch manager Phil then followed up with the company which was supposed to carry out the works and gave me a date of end of May. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I then immediately cancelled my arrangement and demanded a full refund. I was called rude by the ALL TIME INCOMPETENT Shannika when refusing to have any more dialogues with her. The only good thing out of this is that I got my money back and found a better flat somewhere else. My advice to everyone, stay far away from these jokers, especially the USELESS, UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE Shannika who is dragging down any sort of standard this company proclaims it has.
I have dealt with Tanya Robinson frequently over the past few months during my search for investment properties, and whilst we have been unable to find the right property so far, I have found Tanya to be extremely professional, and very easy to work with, and I look forward to when we finally do what I am sure will be the first of many more deals to come in the future. Thanks Tanya, well done!
They made pay £60 for missing cutlery that I had never been in the flat. Plus £165 check out fee!!!!!
This has been a difficult time selling a property on behalf of my brother's estate. The first purchaser pulled out at the last minute and he second purchaser used a solicitor who left an awful lot to be desired and that's putting it mildly. However, Haart did an amazing job. Simon, the branch manager guided us and continually gave us updates. Helen the Sales Progressor was amazing and how she kept her cool with the "solicitor/purchaser" is a credit to her. Having bought and sold many propeties in the past and having dealt with many agents. I have no hesitation in recommending Haart for their professionalism and expertise.
They are nice, smile at you but extremely unhelpful.
Very poor communication, no one to talk to over the phone, when they answer they tell you to call another time when you call simply tell you the person is unavailable.
They take fees without offering any service, I had to go to their office several times to sign the tenancy agreement to get told that the person who is meant to print the document is not available.
Now after I have moved out of the flat I don't know how to recover my deposit.
I feel deceived and very disappointed.
Renting from them is terrible experience.
I gave one star just because you have to give a star, based on my experience, they deserve no stars.
