Argumentative and Time-Wasting This was a complete waste of time. The agency was argumentative over basic questions and seemed more interested in control than communication. Not worth the energy or effort. Instead of clear answers, I was met with a combative tone and unnecessary back-and-forth. I had a very disappointing experience. The ppl of this agency are very good until they receive the amount...after receiving the money they will show their real face towards customer tenants..... if we need anything to ask they will use bad language continually argue with ppl please avoid this scam agency.... Extremely disappointed with this company. We paid a holding deposit of £403 but had to withdraw our application after just two days due to personal reasons. Despite our request to deduct reasonable service charges and two days’ rent, they refused to return any portion of the deposit. This feels unfair and unethical. Be very cautious before dealing with them, as they seem more interested in keeping deposits than providing fair service.... Read more

We had the pleasure of working with Select in May 2023 when we were under a tight 3-week deadline to move out of our 3 bed-room house and find tenants due to an international relocation. From the initial contact made up to the final handover of the property, Raj, Vicky and a few of their handymen acted very professionally and always in the best interest of us. Raj arranged a first viewing just in 1 week's time, where more than 5 prospects showed up. We had 3 people interested and proceeded with 1 that was most suitable for us. In the remaining 2 weeks, all the necessary contracts were drafted, and background checks carried out. Their handyman was sent over to repaint parts of the house, fix some damages such as bathroom ventilators, garden lamps and doorbell. An electrician was arranged to swap the old plastic fuse box with a metal box as per new regulatory guideline. They dealt with all the EPC and Gas Safety certificates too. The house was decorated with small lamps and paintings throughout as we took ours with us and was left sparkling clean on the move in date of the new tenants. I can very highly recommend the experienced team who did such a fantastic job in a short time. We are now considering using them for our second property. Keep up the great work Raj, Vicky & Team!... Very rude. Called and ask about a property to rent. Said he will call me back in 10 minutes. Never called me back so I called 40 min later, he responded that the place was gone and straight away hung up. Would never use them or recommend. if i was able to put no star i would have done it. We have been with select agency for two years now and for the last two months we have been serious issues such as boiler leakage, electricity shortage in the downstairs part and the walls are getting damped. we tried to contact them and let them know our problems, though they listened they have not made any effort to fix our problems yet. Today is Christmas and i had my daughter’s birthday celebrations in the dark. we are highly disappointed as a family. THIS IS JUST ATROCIOUS SERVICE. Hope they will do something soon.... Read more
