As a director of Oxley Gardens, we have had many Block management companies which have not been very successful and been very poor managers and caused many problems where they have not dealt with their duties
but Amax within a few months of taking over has addressed so many problems Justin has gone beyond expectations as a block manager and I’ve been extremely happy with the whole service I would highly recommend them

Unprofessional, rude, ignorant, if you are a tenant they treat you very poorly, even tho you pay your rent on time and you’ve done a lot of repairs on your own, they still don’t care. The house that I’m renting was very poorly/lazy renovated (because it’s a rental and no one cares), therefore a lot of issues are coming along.
And those issues are not resolved and if are resolved, they will say that it’s my fault, when the house has plumbing problems, ventilation issues, electrical issues…how is that my fault?!
I have a drainage problem atm because of their poor quality plumbing and I can’t use my sink nor my washing machine, the way they handled this, was blaming me for it and shouting at me followed up by ending my call because she can’t stand me.

I was with them for 19 months (worse 19 months of my life ) in that time there was floods front doors stuck couldn't get in or out phone amax tell them and they forgot about me my brother come help me out the property (this happened more than once) a fire where old fashion smoke alarms when up its contented to mains (from the leaks they didn't fix) I could carry on with what was wrong like mice,slugs and rats
There staff have no training dealing with people with mental health got noone where with this company fixing things in the end I call the house office in gravesend Council to look at the property(it was making my mental health really bad )im glad to be away from this company and its staff I wouldn't trust this company with a box let alone a building -----00??... Appalling service - if I could give 0 stars I would. Staff are rude, aggressive and outright lie. Found myself in the ridiculous position of having to threaten to sue them after things they had said about me. Eventually at the eleventh hour an apology finally came. Laura was awful, a law unto herself, unhelpful, rude and couldn’t provide basic information. The manager Maxine was never available and even had staff lie about her presence in the office! DO NOT DEAL WITH AMEX!!! This agency organised the parking in an estate where I was resident and after I lost my parking permit I asked them for an other one and they refused to give me one and started to accuse me that I own an other car on that estate and even after I proven that I don't have the other car and had to go to the police to clarify it and handed in the case reference number they still haven't replaced my permit and given 15 parking charges and failed to provide me evidence about where the accusation came from. Of course they say they do not organise the parking but why I needed to go to pick up my parking permit from Amex at the first place then. In there first reply they said I was spying through my neighbours windows with my drone????????????? They kept semding me back and forth with Waterman house who's taken £900 off my depozit for holes on the walls when I even painted the rooms for them and after we moved out they did a false inventory check that I will challenge as the lockdown has lifted and everything is open.???????? Come on Amex if you want to publicly embarrass me and force me to take my review off you need to come up with something better then false accusations because that's all you got and I never even rented from you where is your information coming from. Done to our flats to improve them
So much better than our previous management company, the gardens are looking great and well looked after , the cleaning is always done and everything that we’ve wanted done to improve our flats and building , Laura has sorted it out for us .
We’ve just had all new gas boxes fitted to the building for each of our flats
Must say looks so much better
Laura is an asset to Amax Estates ???? and I’m very pleased what this management company has done
For us and improved our building with new double glazed front door and new double glazed windows
It has increased the value of our property

Not usually one to write reviews, usually when I'm unhappy with the service that I've received.
On this occasion I thought I would due to 100% satisfaction for Amax's outstanding service and professionalism.
I am a landlord, and was looking for a good reliable tenant, thought about advertising myself, but decided to try Amax Lettings for extra safety and security, as they were previously acting as my Management Company.
I was put onto 'Arim', who met me at the property, and advised me what rent to charge, then went away confident that she could find me a suitable tenant.
Within the first 2 weeks, she had found 4 or 5. I explained to her exactly what I wanted, then relied on her judgement to find the ideal tenant in which I feel she did.
She kept in close contact with me at all times and didn't just advise me of the first one that came along, but put a lot of work into it.
So, 'Thank you' Arim, and 'Thank you' Amax!... Read more
