A couple of friends and I have been looking for a nice place for our upcoming move to London. Karolis from the Canary Wharf branch has been an absolutely incredible agent from the get go, absolutely friendly over the phone and eager to find us a place us that fit our needs and budget! Karolis worked his magic and found us the perfect place in the perfect area all within budget. Plus he’s been absolutely incredible with dealing with our insane amount of questions regarding the move. I would highly recommend Foxtons and Karolis as your estate agents when looking for a place to live in London!
They are very quick to take our money, but the service was abysmal!
My experience with this branch of Foxton's has put me off them altogether, to the extent that I will actively avoid any properties being let by them
I am very happy with the service that Franklyn & James provided to us. We rented a flat from them and were in the property for just over two years. They were professional throughout our tenancy . Communicating with them is easy and they respond promptly. Gary in particular, was very helpful and dealt with any issues or inquiries quickly. From signing the tenancy to the processes of returning the deposit, we had no issues. I have no hesitation in recommending Franklyn & James.
Absolutely disgraceful once they'd received our money.
I have just bought my new flat through Peach Properties, both Sam and Chris were fantastic in making sure that the purchase was continually moving forward. They both great and answered all my queries very promptly. I would highly recommend them.
Quite poor service for tenants -
1) Communication is really slow and sometimes confusing.
2) They tried to make us paying for damages in the property which were already there before we checked in and that were reported in the inventory
3) They tried to make us paying for a sofa they bought (and they forgot about it)
4) Watch up for clause 4.1.5 as they will make you pay at the end of the tenancy an initially undisclosed fee for "preparation for checkout". In our case it was 100 pounds.
5) they hire bad contractors for fixing problems in the house. Our windows were poorly fixed 4 times and systematically broke again.
I had a very positive experience renting a property from Morgan Randall. Hollie was efficient, friendly, and went above and beyond my expectations. She was always on hand to answer questions about the tenancy agreement and helped make the moving-in process smooth. Hollie even took the time to return to the property and take thorough measurements to ensure that I could move in my grand piano. Fantastic customer service from Hollie and the staff at Morgan Randall!
MorgaRandall, The worst of the worst! Whatever you imagine about the service related to tenancy, this agent would be at the bottom, apart from finding you a new house after all. They are eager to find it on the initial several days but THAT'S IT!!
You might get no replies for 10 times of emails by the time when you put your holding deposit in. You might be in trouble as the move-in date would be postponed like me and you may have to wash up your cloth with your hands as the washing machine would stay out of work.
For me, It has passed 18days since I moved in.
I am in a disaster with a stack of dirty cloth, wiggly dinning chairs and not working ventilation and lights in the kitchen. While I first visited this flat to view there was a TV, but the TV has gone on the move-in date. The consultant was Elizabeth and she said "it belonged to the previous tenant. What is wrong?" I had to bought a TV at my expense. They advertised it was furnished and they insisted a furnished flat doesn't mean it provide a TV. She even added "it is very rare to provide a TV when it is a furnished flat." Nonsense!
Anyway at least the consultant should notify me if there was a big removal or big changes between the viewing and the move-in date but there was no excuse or information before I agreed the contract.
Negligent to keep you updated and ignorance of your request and just a representative of a Landlord who doesn't listen to tenants' voice. Those are my impression on MorganRandall.
I would like appreciate all company team effort to find proper tenants for my two apartments in Deptford. Special thanks belong to Property Manager - Michael Arze who personally accompanied around units me and my wife after complete furnishing. He has answered all our questions and provide us all necessary information and services including handling account etc.. UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY POOR SERVICE
Extremely poor service from Complete Ltd: I paid during one year long the full rent of a flat which had a broken window which couldn’t be opened at all, preventing the access to our terrace! While I was promised at the beginning that it would be repaired before I moved in. I had a dozens of exchanges with them, barely any response from them and was finally told that it would be impossible to repair it!
Additionally to that, one of their agents came to introduce the flat to potential new tenants and thought it would be a good idea to open the faulty window! Of course, he couldn’t close it anymore and decided to leave the flat unattended with an opened window: first, anyone could have come in the flat and it was very dangerous; second, they couldn’t sort the situation quickly and I had to endure the cold and wind for two days in the middle of January. No need to say I never had compensation for that.
On top of that, when I exit the flat, I had a professional cleaning service, which I proved and they decided to charge me £60 without any good reasons … I contested it, notable mentioning that I have paid the full price of a flat that was not fully functional but they did not do any gesture.
I will never use Complete Ltd again, would strongly recommend anyone to NOT use them and will make sure to be very vocal about how poorly they manage the service for the flat.
I would like to write a review for City Realtor as well as a response for the negative review left by Jack.
I have been renting a room through City Realtor since October 2016 and I decided to leave my contract early to move away for a few months. Because I wanted to leave my contract early I needed to find a replacement for my room. I showed my room and the flat to Jack advising that there were other people that have viewed the room before him and they had said they were interested. So, if he was interested he would need to contact the agency as soon as possible to see if the room is still available for rent or if anyone had placed a deposit to secure the room. Unfortunately for him, a previous viewer had already shown their interest so their application was processed first. The replacement, if suitable, is chosen on a first come first serve basis.
My experience with City Realtor has been a breeze and very pleasant. Sam initially showed me around the flat explaining everything I needed to know for a first time renter. He immediately put me at ease and talked me through the whole process. When I went to the office to sign the contact, the agent read through the contract with me and explained any questions I had. One thing I really liked about the agency is that they made sure everyone in the flat was suitable for each other. We were all around the same age, quite sociable and it made it a really nice environment.
Throughout my stay with the agency, all of the staff have been super helpful with any query that we have asked or emailed them and any problems that we had throughout the flat were fixed as soon as we notified them.
When I return to London I will definitely be using this agency again and I personally recommend using City Realtor when looking for a place to rent. A very trustworthy and helpful company that are down to earth and provide and excellent service.
They will increase the rent price by 40% after you pay them the holding deposit and uploaded all of your information for credit check. This is such a fake and time wasting action which is bad for both sides. They do refund the deposit afterwards but this is definitely a dishonest housing agent.
Don't ever waste time on City Realtor. Their housing ad looks really good but sorry, the rent price is fake.
