I have used Bagleys both as a landlord when I rented my house out, then as a seller. Sarah filled me with confidence that I'd made the right choice of agent and I felt safe in her hands. She found me some wonderful tenants who looked after my house and I couldn't have asked for more from her. When I decided to sell the house, Nikki took over and again I had such a positive experience. She was always contactable, so easy to talk too, reassuring and saw the sale through to completion making sure I was kept in the loop with what I needed to know, and dealt with everything I didn't. Forget the rest - Bagley's Estate Agent is the Best. Within the first few minutes of meeting Sarah, I knew that Bagley's was the estate agent I would be using. Over the last few stressful months each time I've had any issues/questions/meltdowns, one phone call to Nikki or Sarah and I've felt reassured that everything was ok and my house sale was progressing, the ladies have kept me informed and updated throughout the whole transaction. I have to give a big THANK YOU to Nikki as in the final 14 days she managed to get all parties back on track. I honestly believe I would not have completed in time without her. A fantastic first time buying experience, all thanks to the professional team at Bagleys. Sarah contacted me at the start, with viewing times; even recommended a fantastic mortgage broker, who I can't thank enough. Once the offer was accepted; I was then in regular contact with Nikki. Nikki is very good at her job, I'd go as far as to say one of the best, if not the best. She is professional, helpful, and kept me sane through a very stressful time, reassuring me throughout the process. To be as positive as she is, in a very demanding job, it takes a lot of experience. My wife and I worked with Nikki to purchase our home and really can’t say enough good things about her. She is knowledgeable, approachable, personable, endlessly patient, and incredibly generous with her time (including mornings, evenings, and weekends over the course of several weeks). She answered every question and explained every form and every part of the process clearly and thoroughly. Buying a home in this market is challenging, but working with Nikki made it as painless and straightforward as possible. We highly recommend her. A mixed experience. They gave me a chance when my credit report wasn't the best and before all the extra initial charges i.e. admin fees and credit check fees were abolished bagleys were easily one of the cheapest agencies around and to their credit! On the down side repairs took far too long to get done and whenever I called to chase them up and merely to get some clarity sarah did not always have the most pleasant of tone over the phone. The reason that was always given for the repairs taking so long was that the repairs man was self employed and not employed by bagleys however regardless of wether he is self employed or not is irrelevant, bagleys still chose to use his services and on several occasions rubbish was left behind after repair work was done and at times he proved unreliable. Another negative was that as soon as the extra charges i.e. admin fees and credit check fees etc were abolished by the government bagleys decided to raise my rent from 525 to 550 bearing in mind the house is very small, has single glazed windows and no central heating and is in brockmoor and there were larger properties with double glazed windows and central heating in the same area being rented for 525-550 so i felt bagleys pricing was disproportionate for this particular property. I have since found a property in the same area which is larger and has central heating and double glazed windows for 525 and it isn't at a discount. It's the going rate. Bagleys have positives and negatives but overall I would not recommend them... Read more
