Sadly poor. I rang Sarah Webster recently regarding the dirty filthy bathwater that is pouring Into my flat 24/7 for months on end. She refused to answer her phone and ultimately blocked my calls and messages. Acids and,chemicals have been pumped through from above and literally dissolved anything standing in the way. God knows what it's done to my lungs.

Absolutely appalling service from the estate manager Matthew Warren.
I got in touch with Bartholomews to enquire about a parking permit for the building’s underground parking.
I am a tenant where the flat comes with an allocated parking space (with the flat number painted on it).
I asked for a permit so that when I have a visitor who is using my parking, there is a permit to display.
Matthew simply tells me it’s £10 for every visitor’s visit that I have to pay. So if you have 2 visitors a week it’s £20 to pay (to use your own parking, which is allocated to your own flat you rent). Or even better imagine renting a car every week (52 x £10) £520 a year to park in your own allocated parking.
When I asked for a reason for the charge and evidence of this policy, his response was simply that there is no document to officialise this and this is something that was decided years ago by the directors.
I asked to speak to either a colleague or manager or Supervisor of his and he said he’s the estate manager and there is no one I can speak to.
He also said as I am a tenant they won’t take my complaint for their service as they only consider the landlord’s complaints.
I have all of this in written on email.
An absolute joke.
Sad that the company take a bad review because of 1 person who works there.
If someone from Bartholomews reads this, I would genuinely like to speak to you guys.... Read more

My experience of Bartholomews as a landlord of 15 years has frankly been abysmal. l own a leasehold flat for which Batholomews manage service charge collection (not my decision) and I have been astounded by their incompetence. They do not offer the most basic services, such as setting up direct debits for service charge payments (unlike every other management company I deal with) and only last year did they start emailing me invoices rather than posting them, really helpfully, to my tenants (not to my personal address). This particular issue resulted in a backlog of invoices not reaching me, and instead of phoning or emailing me to arrange payment - they passed the matter to their solicitors and added a £400 legal fee to my account.
I would urge any landlord or property developer to steer clear of Bartholomews. The company does not use common sense, makes no effort to resolve issues sensibly and amicably, and is evidently struggling to keep up with modern technology.... Read more

My experience with them is horrible. I have been specifically targeted and singled out, it is clear they care to satisfy landlords living in the properties over renters. I felt as if I'm living for free. In my situation I hope I've been targeted only because I'm renter and not because of race/culture etc..
For sure I'll not live again in any property around the area if they are management for it.
After that specific incident by weeks, I wrote them email about an issue in the whole building and I never got reply.... Read more

Recently we were alarmed to read an urgent message from one of our tenants. They had discovered a blocked and unpleasant smelling drain. The drain was shared with the immediate neighbour and two other apartments above. Instantly, I emailed and even phoned Bartholomews, the property management company about the issue. Sarah Webster answered my call and responded to the urgency of the situation. She sounded professional, confident and sympathetic. I was most impressed how she swiftly set up an engineer to assess and remedy the blockage for me. Within hours, I was updated and my tenant was delighted that the matter was resolved. I am appalled by the services they offer and as a home-owner at one of their properties I would in hindsight never have opted to buy the property if I knew how disorganised and disparate the attitude of the management is.
