they just do things in rush and only care about money not the customers happiness in providing them with a good quality homes and try avoid things as much as they can, yes the worst customer service and builders i would say. Infact never buy with persimmon anywhere in UK, they don't have quality houses, design, looks and the materials inside which they used are the worst part which would tear off almost in a year. Rude staff - Unprofessional ! Do not buy Persimmon homes. I understand nothing goes according to the plan when a home is done. Until you buy the home you are treated as the king. Once you pay the deposit, the staff in particular Sharon, her behaviour not acceptable. She kind of shouts at you makes you feel bad in infront of others. My wife once has gone at marketing suite and at that time Sharon was busy with other buyers and my wife was calmly waiting .For this Sharon shouted " I am very busy right now " in front of all others. This staff doesn't respond to emails and issues. Once you pay the deposit you are done. Persimmons do not have a customer care. Persimmons should be ashamed of themselves. They will give you a contact number of GEMMA Richer and in your life time you will never be able to talk to lady. May be she doesn't exist. Gemma Responds only via email after 14 days or so. There is no software to track your issues. Many of my issues are still pending. It was real torture. Only now I started to live normal life again after all this nightmare. Walk away from Persimmons. Persimmons even purchased a facebook page named "Unhappy Persimmon customers" and renamed it. Beware of these builders. I feel sad for others who are purchasing homes in the new development. Totally shameless no responsibility. None of the employee doesn't have their dedicated computer or email address too. Just understand what you are dealing with. Everything is dealt on paper.... We had so many problems after moving in and we had to fight for months to get the majority of the snags fixed. Moved in 2 years ago and they still haven't finished the surface of our street. Customer service is non existent. They just simply ignore you as long as they can.... Read more

Nightingale View at Bovis were so Friendly and Helpful. The properties we looked round were lovely, its a real shame the 4 bed didn't come with a garage otherwise we would have bought. We even knocked on the doors of neighbours as we had some concerns over the press. However, the people living there couldn't give the site manager and the sales team enough praise. It seems that the houses are finished very well with minor snags completed very quickly! Completely opposite to the press. I read the reviews below so was slightly cautious when visiting. But this is not the experience we had at all. Highly recommend this development.... Read more

Poor communication, Poor efficiency, no apology or professional courtesy. Scheduled completion date (originally Sept- Oct) Still not built, expected "Dec-Jan" . The plans for my property were inaccurate for my specific plot and I was not informed of this leaving us without a window in the bathroom on a semi-detached plot facing over my own car parking spaces and with shrubs surrounding it. This was not communicated at reservation, in fact we were told we would have a window- I asked specifically. Neither was this mentioned at the post reservation meeting, where several other queries we had like only 1 plug socket in the door way of the 2nd bedroom, and our design of our kitchen which were not prepared as we were buying a solid stone work surface. I am now awaiting an outcome as to whether or not they will rectify the missing bathroom window, no response on the phone today.... Read more

Sales staff are genuinely embarrassed at the lack of customer care they are able to provide. No updates on build progress, promises to respond broken every time. Not a good experience so far!!... Read more

Potential buyers be warned! Build estimates are laughable at best. Add 6 - 12months to the estimated completion date and revise your budget accordingly. Contracts are watertight so expect little more than a template apology letter, or five. Sales team are friendly - they have good intentions but are poorly supported by Regional & Building Site Management. Fundamental to the Persimmon experience is something to whinge about - alas it appears that a common enemy is the foundation for building a friendly neighbourhood, so every cloud... We were rather fortunate in that once we had moved in, things generally seemed positive. Horror stories do exist from elsewhere on Sherborne Fields and their Charles Church sister site in Bramley, e.g. finishing touches not being installed, or being installed in a random house; near-complete houses being knocked down upon discovery that their foundations did not stand up to NHBC scrutiny; backflows of sewage flooding the ground floor... 2/5. Persimmon must try harder next time.... Read more
