It is honestly one of the worst Estate Agents I've ever had the mis-pleasure to encounter. No communication between the staff running the tours, and the staff taking the calls. Supposedly a bridge between you and the landlord, but in reality more of an obstacle and a hinderance. Go somewhere, better yet, anywhere else... Read more

Have lived in a rental property managed by Northwood Basingstoke since 2018 and have always found them to be professional and timely with their responses. The staff are friendly and do their best to address any concerns I have, keeping me updated on progress. I am informed well in advance of any property inspections and routine maintenance enabling me to make arrangements to be home or for my dogs to be out. After living in a property for over a year, I noticed the property had a damp issue. I spoke with Northwood who arranged a cleaner to clean the mold. This did not resolve the problem and a friend and I spent months regularly cleaning the mold. Eventually it was discovered that there was a leak in the roof and that roofers were required to fix the roof. Northwood asked me to clean the mold before the roofing survey arrived which suggested to me they were trying to hide the problem from the landlord. I then refused to let anyone enter the property until I had a third party inspect the mold problem of which I have every right to seek that third party assistance, then Northwood issued me a section 21 eviction notice rather than deal with the ongoing mold problem this property has. The mold was caused by a previous tenant wallpapering over the bathroom vent. I will be glad to never live in another Northwood property after this experience.... Read more

Northwood estate agents took on the sale of our apartment following a disappointing episode with another agent. Beth gave me confidence that Northwood could do what we wanted in a reasonable timescale and at a price that was attractive and certainly higher than our previous agents. Beth kept us informed through the viewing process and the eventual sale and without fail responded to us when we had a query.
