Dealing with Clements has been totally AMAZING. From the first visit to date, we can not fault Clements or the team, at all.
The property was sorted within weeks, communication has been great from the start and they actually care. What could be a scary transaction, was made easy as we were kept up to date every step of the way and they went the extra mile to ensure we are totally happy and know what’s happening next.

'All estate agents are the same........' Well that is just not true!!!!
Clements are simply strides ahead of any other estate agents in Hemel. We have had dealings with others and I so wish we had found Clements first. What a team! Right from the first time I meet Lee to the selling of our flat they have been faultless. I have felt so supported, so informed about every step, had feedback on every viewing. Never felt it was inconvenient to call and they really work all hours to get the job done. Lee clearly is a great negotiator for both parties to get you to the right price for both.

Sasha and Lee were great when I started renting my property a few years back, always timely, friendly and professional.

Absolutely phenomenal estate agent.
We initially tried to sell with another agency (shall not be named, but let's just say that they're the biggest EA in Hemel Hempstead). That was a complete waste of time and it ruined any chance we had of avoiding stamp duty. It took them months to find us a buyer, who they convinced us is the best buyer we'll get and the week before the stamp duty exemption ended, it turned out the buyer didn't even have the finances to buy the house. Months wasted!
Once all hope was lost with that, we turned to Clements, who sold the house after one round of viewings and got us a much higher selling price.
Sarah, Aleasha and Harvey worked great as a team in helping us with the sale and Lee Shaw was the orchestrator pulling the strings. Relentless, hard-working and above all else, honest, Lee has kept me updated with the sale at all times. 10pm on a Wednesday, 7am on a Friday or even 2pm on a Sunday, Lee worked all hours to make sure we were always fully informed with our transaction.
Many estate agents have a bad reputation but that wouldn't be the case if they all behaved the way Lee and his team do at Clements.
Couldn't recommend them any higher!!!

Highly recommend! We sold our property through Clements recently and were really impressed. Having tried a different local estate agent first, we weren’t satisfied with the service we received so decided to try Clements instead and we are glad we did! Eleasha, Harvey and the team were amazing and kept us updated every step of the way. Eleasha listened to our needs as sellers and found us the right buyer, unlike other estate agents who try to make you accept an offer that isn’t right for you. We had moved from one estate agent to Clements as they house we wanted was being sold through them. What we found was they were so proactive and communicated well to us. They also showed alot of empathy when they couldn't get THAT buyer. Lee, Harvey and Elesha also not forgetting Ben kept each other up to date with things so when you called you knew someone would pick up from where the last person left it.
They only negative thing was we didn't manage to buy through them as we found what we wanted elsewhere which was a shame. Would highly recommend the Clements Team @ Hemel, top job and thank you......

I bought my flat through Clements 12 years ago. Ben was great then - my buyer was keen very impatient but he kept things going and allowed me the time to complete my purchase. I then stayed in contact with them and they offered me invaluable advice on the housing market. I massively valued the relationship I was able to build up with them.

What started out with a extremely positive valuation and experience with Lee, quickly turned into four months of lies and false hope.
It all started swimmingly; lee turned up exactly when he said he would, we discussed the property and what had been done in it recently. He gave his views on the pricing and how he felt the sale would go and his thoughts on time frame of selling it. (At this point we, nor Lee, had no idea how crazy the market would be).
Ben was booked in to come take photos and take measurements for the floor plan. He turned up when he wanted to, not when he said he would, but also did not keep us informed of his lack of time keeping. Ben did apologise and later that day and our property was live on the internet... with the wrong floor plan; which was quickly corrected.
From here it went downhill...
I popped into the shop to sign the contract (bearing in mind the property had already been placed on the market with no discussions of fees or charges)and once I had signed the contract I was told by young apprentice Harvey he had two people waiting to view the property (it was a lie).
When I chased this up with them a few days later, I was lied to again. The excuse I got from Harvey was he was trying to get a time and date they could both make. After chasing again I was told by Ben that the people weren’t interested, as there was a property close to mine that was considerably cheaper. Ben was extremely blunt and abrupt about this, with no suggestions on how they would boost selling my property, but essentially promoting the other one which was cheaper.
A viewing was soon arranged over the phone and we made note of this appointment, prepared and organized to both be out of the property for this due to working from home. On the day of the viewing my girlfriend called to ask what was happening as we hadn’t heard anything and to find out what access arrangements should be made and she was told someone would get back to her with the information. She called a further two times (got through to Neil & Ben) with still no reply, and then I had to call to request the information she had asked for 3 time previously. I ended up getting a text message from Lee who was on annual leave apologising and saying he would find out what was going on. At this point my patience was wearing thin and called the shop to express my anger. It appeared they had no idea what they was doing when Lee wasn’t in to take control and how much of an amateur operation it was. Sadly poor young Harvey got the brunt of this.
This issue was resolved with Lee the following morning; he is the only one in the company who knows how to run an estate agents; and his name isn’t on the sign.
After this shambles, Elesha took over the property under the watchful eye of Lee. Viewings slowly trickled in and the feedback Elesha gave was very helpful and we felt she tried to the best of her ability to try and sell it for us. And if there was questions she didn’t have the answers to she would make sure she had the answers in case they came up again.
Half way through the 16 week contract and after a lot of thought and consideration we had a long conversation with Lee. We suggested different ways of boosting the viewings, better pictures, wording and finally came to the decision of reducing the price slightly to try and increase interest. As amendments brings you back to the top of the main house selling websites (Rightmove & Zoopla) it did get more interest, but only another 4 viewing and still no offer. The market had rocketed with houses and apartments going for A LOT cheaper than “the norm”.
On many occasions there were conversations of how things were going and what new things were being done to gather more interest, but sadly for the experts it always came back to reducing the price.
28 days before the contract ended, I delivered the letter to cease. 2 weeks later, a competitor to Clements called us and said our property had been removed from the market (Zoopla & Rightmove). This was news to us, as this was down before the contract had ended. I raised this and it was a “website error”. But who knows.
To add insult to injury we received a letter from an advertising agent (House Vault Limited) working on behalf Clements. Claiming ‘we are more likely to sell your home than your previous agent’. I’m not really sure how that would work in this case, as Clements were the previous agent and they failed miserably at that attempt. The letter also states ‘ Having reviewed your online listing, we feel several things need immediate attention to increase your chances of selling’ on many occasions we discussed changing the wording/pictures and this was never done, it’s nice to see they could have done it if we signed up for a second 16 week term. Or they need to be in contact with the advertising agents and filter who they send these letters to when properties are taken off the market from Clements.
Personally, I enjoyed dealing with Lee and Elesha, I feel they tried to the best even with the useless support of Clements and what the company can offer. I’m sure they would thrive in a different, better company. I found Ben rude, belittling and not interested.
I would never recommend Clements to my friends and family; nor would I be returning when I put my property back on the market.

She was honest, happy, professional and made us feel very relaxed, and gave great advice. She seems really committed to helping us find our dream house. We hope to see her again. I came to Clements in a desperate position. I sold my house and was purchasing a new property but it fell through 2 week before completion. I had 2 weeks to find a rental and was trying to search during lock-down...an impossible task. Lee at Clements bent over backwards to find me a property that was in budget, to a high specification, in my dream location and also able to move with super short notice... outstanding work! I had daily communication on the progress of the contract and felt that my hand was held during the entire process. I purchased four flats through Clements when I was looking for a rental investment three years ago and did not hesitate to instruct them as my letting agents after completion.
They have excellent knowledge of the sales and rental market in the area and offer a highly professional service whilst at the same time they are friendly and easy to communicate with. Extremely helpful throughout the whole purchasing transaction, they were always there to give advice and support and chase queries.
Clements have now been letting my flats for the past three years.
I could let the flats myself by putting a card in a shop window or through the internet but with legislation on property especially the rental sector constantly under review and subject to change I would rather instruct Clements and know that the whole letting process was being taken care of by a dedicated team of professionals.
I would not hesitate to recommend Clements to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent.

We have always used a local estate agent to manage the properties. In 2014, we felt that we needed to change the agents that we had been using and chose Clements. We have no regrets. We always get good advice, which is fair to both us and the tenants. Our tenants have been long term, over 10 years and this would not be possible without a good, balanced relationship.

Buying and selling houses is notoriously stressful but we bought and sold with Clements and it was a very good decision. They are hands on estate agent who did everything to ensure that the sale went through smoothly.

All seems good at beginning of tenancy and good throughout, however upon vacating the premises customer service went swiftly downhill.
My wife and I asked to break our tenancy clause 3 months into a 12 month contract with a 6 month breakout clause. Clements and the landlord agreed. As long as a new tenant occupied the house and no rent fees were disrupted.
We asked Clements to go ahead and advertise the property and knew it would take as long as it takes. Clements gave us a call (I would like to add, they didn't email which was unusual, something I regret not asking for now) and asked us if we could vacate the property fully by Monday March 12th as a new tenant is lined up.
We immediately agreed and had 2 weeks to clear the house, moving everything into our new property so by the weekend of 10th and 11th, the property was empty. Que: a call from Clements on Friday 9th March "sorry but the new tenant has failed reference".
So, obviously living somewhere else now, our rent was due on the empty property on the 12th and we payed it as contractually bound.
Another tenent was lined up a couple weeks later and again these people failed referencing. It took until 23rd April to secure new tenants in a fantastic 2 bedroom house, with huge rooms, garden and in a quiet area.
The landlord of the property may have had a hand in these turns of events, however,
We will be buying a house next year and are not going to be using Clements due to this experience.

I do not no anything about being a landlord and nor do i need to now. I feel this is what you call service and personal .
Start to end they have worked on every part of getting my flat ready and also helping with any issues which came up. The best Serivce in hemel.
Dont go any where else unless you want to be mess about.

From someone with a large rental portfolio, take it from me........Dont drop into Hemel branch.
If the customer service from the carpark is anything to go by, steer well clear.
The lady who drives the Black BMW X3 is rude and arrogant.......
I bought 3 properties from Flaggs in this area in 2016, and now I will continue to do so.

The options offered to sell the property were fully explained and once the coarse of action agreed advertising swiftly implemented. We were pleased to have you introduce the " ideal " buyer for our property. Considering the probate house was a distant sell, i.e 250 miles from our home town of Holsworthy, Devon, the advance notice for viewings, feedback and overall communication was very professional throughout the sales process.

CONTRACTORS BEWARE
OVER A MONTH AGO I WAS ASKED TO VISIT A FLAT LET BY CLEMENTS TO INVESTIGATE AND TO WRITE A REPORT FOR THE LANDLORD.
NOW THEY SAY THE LANDLORD DOES NOT WANT TO PAY.
THEY/LANDLORD HAVE TAKEN MY ADVISE FROM MY REPORT BUT WILL NOT PAY ME?

Although we did not sell through Clements, they had previously marketed our house. We were about to use there services again when our current agents managed to find a buyer after some time. Despite this Ben gave us lots of advice regarding the progression of the sale which we were extremely grateful for. If the sale had fallen through we were ready to use them again.
