I can’t recommend Squire Estates enough. Generally Estate Agents have a bad reputation of sitting back and doing very little to earn their commission. The team at Squires blow this perception out of the water. From the valuation to the sale, they remain focussed and professional and determined to give you the best service possible. Calls are always answered and on the rare occasions you need to request a call back, they always do so. Feedback is provided after each viewing and once an offer is accepted, Ellen who is their sales progressor, swings into action to communicate with the purchaser and conveyancers to provide regular updates. In our case we had so many problems with our purchase and although it wasn’t in her remit she engaged with our seller’s Estate Agent and solicitor to achieve a positive outcome. I truly believe that we would have given up half way through if it weren’t for Ellen, her assistance was invaluable.

Brilliant company - We had shopped around at other companies but non compared to Squire Estates. In fact other companies were as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Ashley was brilliant. He kept us in the loop from day 1. He updated us every step of the way.
He maintained regular contact and advised on what we needed to do to help move things forward. He was extremely knowledgeable and was on hand to answer any questions or queries we had.
I would definitely recommend this company. Helpful and excellent communication during such a stressful and big transition. Thank you again Ashley.

I purchased a property through Squire estates and I can't put into words how outstanding their service has been and how on the ball they were especially in time sensitive situations. The process of buying a property from offer till completion can be extremely stressful and full of highs and lows. Ellen who is the after sales consultant was part of my journey every step of the way. We were trying to complete in time for the stamp duty deadline of the 31June 2021. She insured that the solicitors were responsive and reactive to any information required to complete between them. We both worked very hard to ensure it competed in time speaking everyday. She always got back to be and always did what she said. Without her attention to detail, skill care and diligence we wouldn't have completed time. LIARS ! I was interested about a flat, the first thing I asked is: can I have my cat in this flat? The agent said yes. I visited the flat, paid my deposit. Everything was fine until here. I getting me contract and I saw “pet are not allowed “ I asked my agent what’s going on? He just said he never told us that, what I liar and kept our deposit of £211. Ashley I would be ashamed of myself if I were you!

Didn't call me back when asked about a property to rent. I had to call them few times to finally arange a viewing, which has been cancelled. I was never contacted again to reschedule, even after I mentioned that I am still interested and would like to book a viewing. I've just checked their website and noticed that this property has been rented out. Very unprofessional service.

Cannot recommend Squires enough. I currently rent a property through them and their service has always been preofessional, quick and friendly.
I mainly deal with Jody who is a DELIGHT but have had dealings with many of the team who are just as helpful and wonderful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Communication is quick and in a friendly manner.

Fantastic service from the lettings team! Ben was very helpful and patient through the whole process which took a bit longer due to current virus outbreak. I was always aware of the status of the current status of application and everything is done very professionally. If it wasnt for Ben I would have probably given up half way due to issues from our side which hr helped us a big deal with. Definitely recommend, best letting agency I've dealt with.

I viewed a lovely property and wanted to go ahead with it straight away so Ashley James waited with me at the property while I phoned their office to make sure everything had been sorted for me before he left!
He kept me updated throughout the whole process and if someone would be contacting me other than himself he would advise who it would be and when.
The best experience I’ve had with an estate agents by far - the whole process has been completed in just a few weeks and I will be happily moved in at the end of the month thanks to Squire Estates.
Honestly can’t recommend them enough - just a great team all round!

Best estate agents I have ever encountered. Got a really great rate of rent for a newly refurbished room in an HMO. When I needed a new bed because the old one broke they were happy to help. They always answer the phone promptly, and give excellent customer service. No quibbles over returning my deposit when I left, and made a refund straightforward when I accidentally paid for an extra months rent. Really friendly, down to earth, and sensible people. 10/10 would reccomend!

I have used Squires to manage a number of my rental properties over the last 15 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Any maintenance issues are actioned extremely quickly and tenants are kept happy while the problems are being resolved. Jeanette was exceptional when we had a problem with a roof on one of our properties and meet the council contractor on the roof of a high block of flats to resolve the issue. You really can’t ask for much more than that.
The quality of the tenants has been exceptional, with very few worries about non-payment. Although Laura always has her finger on the pulse should there be any concerns in that area and kept me fully informed along the way.
I have also sold a number of properties through Squires and once again, an efficient, professional service, has always been received.
I have no hesitate in recommending them to any landlords looking for an agent in this area.

Renting through Squires has been exceedingly stressful! Moving is hard and I want to warn any prospective customers of the service they can expect. I viewed a property through Squires who were very helpful in the lead up to the move. We had a young baby and our van was packed, we were to leave our old house the following morning. With 24 hours notice, we were told that the house 'wasn't ready' for another 3 days. WE WERE LEFT HOMELESS. We stayed at a friends with a full van for 4 days. Optimistically, I believed this was due to unforseeable problems. On arriving at the house, there was a hole in the living room ceiling, no kitchen floor, stained carpets & holes in the walls. I was devastated. We looked but nothing was available to rent, we had no choice but to move in. The landlord seemed pleasant, he explained that faulty repairs had caused all the damage. We soon discovered that Squires did not manage the property whilst our landlord claimed he was struggling to pay the mortgage and went AWOL. Having told the landlord that water was pouring from the living room ceiling he replied with a text message "Not on a Sunday!". Squires made it very clear they were not responsible and could not help. They are however, happy to advertise and take commission. We felt extremely vulnerable and let down. Surely there must be some assurances going through an agency... MANAGER, JEANETTE SQUIRE told us, "If you don't like it honey, you can can move out". We could not move again, we had neither the time off work nor the money. We decided to make the house habitable, cover holes, use rugs, repair walls etc. We heard nothing from the landlord in the following year (apart from him turning up before 8am to use our toilet which he blocked, then mumbled about coming back to fix it). We gave 4 weeks notice which officially should have been on our rent due date (which had been changed by the landlord with no notice). However, with ALL OF THE BREACHES of the contract they could not possibly justify enforcing this. Squires manager..."There's no point in bringing up the past it's irrelevant" and her favourite saying "If you don't like it, you should have moved out honey". Unbelievably, she reminded us that "I've bent over backwards to help you" and "You don't want to accuse me of anything as I am the only one I between you and your notice"... BLACKMAIL. An agent arranged to meet us at the house with the landlord the following day. He was shocked by the state of the house, very apologetic, and wanted to start repairs immediately for the new tenants. I refused, after a year of unfulfilled promises, his cowboy tradesmen were not coming in and out, taking down the ceiling and plastering over our furniture whilst we were still paying rent and living there. The landlord was very disgruntled and denied knowledge of the damage. We had kept e-mails and photos so he left. I had no trust in Squires or the landlord so requested no viewings in my absence. My husband and I both work, so we agreed for one agent who we trusted a little, to do viewings. This trust was destroyed when he passed the keys to his manger who carried out viewings unbeknown to us. I ensured the house was tidy, no washing out etc. There were no courtesy calls to say when viewings were cancelled or to say that it had been let! Squires could not see any problems. We did not have a good relationship and we did not want Jeanette Squires in our house when we were out. The previous tenants visited and told us of the appalling service they too had received. Squires say, "If the landlord promises to make adequate repairs there is nothing we can do". The landlord has repeatedly made the same promises and Squires are knowingly renting the house in its current condition to the next unsuspecting tenants. PLEASE BE WARNED! Squires are completely independent and unique with "If you don't like it honey, you can move out" attitude. Look into all the facts and know your rights!
