After a few days of living in a property which was let by Crown letting I rated them 5 stars. I'm now changing that to 1 star after 6 months of hell. This is the most rookie company I've dealt with in years. They broke the data protection act not only once but twice. When I made a complaint it was dismissed and they told me I had broken the data protection act by giving their PUBLIC number to the council (yes really). They had my electricity meter in someone elses property, they also failed to tell me they wanted me to be billed by the landlord directly (using the third most expensive electricity supplier). I asked to have the meter moved in my property and they refused, I asked to change supplier and they refused. My electricity was also being shared into another property which I had to pay for (at least until I found this out) and they STILL expected me to pay. They were rude, arrogant and ignorant when I spoke to them about these issues. I did my best to try and come to some arrangement but they wouldn't budge on any issues at all (despite them failing to tell me any of this OR put any of it in the contract). When I moved in there was furniture and possessions from the previous tenants which they said they would remove and didn't. They're now trying to charge me for the removal of these items. Let me be straight. if you're a tenant DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. These are the people you hear stories about. If you're a landlord then find someone else as they will cause such massive problems for your tenants and yourself that you'll be dealing with non stop problems and they simply don't take care of anything, they're lazy and are unable to deal with anything and will end up making the tenants so upset that they'll move out the first chance they get. The company went through 3 different managers in 3 months and the last one they had was one of the most inept and idiotic people I've ever dealt with. It's clear she was taking everything personally and trying to punish me for trying to fix problems she was too lazy and untrained to deal with. I would get insulting and rude emails several times a day by some person who was clearly upset that she had to do a job to earn money, its like she expected to be paid for doing nothing at all. There's no excuse for being this sloppy and unprofessional. A monkey could do 10 times a better job than this. I've used many other letting agencies in my life and never had anything near this bad an experience.... Read more

I have nothing but praise for this company. From the first phone call I made they were completely brilliant! A viewing was arranged for the property I had an interest in very quickly and was extremely professional and friendly. I decided to take the place on and the company was always very fast to respond to any phone calls or emails I made. I will now be moving in to this property and am just over the moon I have such a fantastic company to deal with. I simply cannot recommend using this company enough! Fantastic work Crown!...
