27th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I purchased a house through Leaper Standbrook and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The vendor had a language barrier, which required careful management. Unfortunately, this was handled very badly. For two months, the vendor failed to respond to legal correspondence, causing serious delays. As a result, my own buyer was close to pulling out and demanding money back. On the day of completion, matters became even worse. Leaper Standbrook had still not obtained the keys from the vendor due to poor communication and management. I was left sitting on the driveway of a house I legally own with no way to get inside. This should have been an exciting day, but instead it was stressful and upsetting. The lack of organisation, communication, and responsibility shown throughout this process has been unacceptable. I would not recommend Leaper Standbrook based on my experience.

Lorraine battled very hard in helping to secure exchange in what became a protracted process. I can't thank her and the team enough for their efforts and would not hesitate to recommend them.

24th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)They were terrible. We were selling the house due to a separation, and they refused to communicate correctly with both parties. When I complained about this, they spoke to the other party (my ex) about the complaint before they even spoke to me about it. AVOID
18th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)This estate agent gets you moving!!! We changed to Wood and Pilcher after being on the market with another estate agent for over five months through the Spring and Summer with no success. We approached Wood and Pilcher who agreed to take over the sale, (and were utterly professional with their guidance about how to end our contract with the other agent). Although our property was then launched with them late in the Autumn as the dark days were drawing in, we immediately had fresh viewings and a firm offer for the house within a week. This led to exchange of contracts before Christmas, and completion as soon as the solicitors were back at work in January. Their proactive approach and clear, prompt communication made all the difference. They respond to emails instantly; they followed up a query from our buyers late on a Saturday afternoon, until it was resolved and sorted before leaving their desk for the weekend. They unpicked a mistake made by solicitors and diplomatically saved the day, again with honest, clear communication between us and the buyers, which would have dragged into a complicated mess if left to the solicitors! We cannot thank them enough for the successful house sale, which all went through within weeks at a 'slow' time of year for the property market generally.

I spoke with Chloe and Rebecca on the rental side, both were very helpful and transparent in discussing next steps with me. I will definitely be considering using them as my agent in the future!

12th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)We brought a house from crane and co and they really were a great team, they were amazing at always updating us and pushing on the sale when it needed to be done. We worked a lot with Danny and if it wasn’t for him I don’t think the sale would’ve happened! Everytime I phoned crane and Co up they would also pick up the phone and the whole team was very friendly and would try and answer any queries! I would definitely recommend buying and selling through this company!

Kyle and Ashley were fantastic throughout the process, always friendly, responsive and incredibly patient with all our questions. They were also very accommodating in letting us view the property multiple times while we made our decision. Buying a house can be stressful, but they helped make the process feel much smoother. We’re very grateful for all their support and would happily recommend them.

Thomas knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a home. Francis gave us updates weekly, daily towards exchange and completion. Also a big Thank You to Adele too. We are in our forever home and it's all Thanks to Thomas and his team.

12th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)I requested a property valuation from Oakfield Estate agents via their website on a Sunday evening and was contacted by Georgia first thing the following morning to take some details and arrange a visit. Karen Fogarty visited our home a few days later, she had clearly done a lot of research ahead of the visit and gave a comprehensive explanation of her valuation. She had several other example properties that Oakfield had recently sold in the local area (detailed on a large tablet) and left us in no doubt at all that her valuation was fair and accurate. We have since decided that it isn’t quite the right time to move, but when the time does come – we will definitely be reapproaching Oakfield. I would thoroughly recommend their services! :)
