Today I went on a horse for the very first time ???? at the age of 57... The staff at Fordbank were just so lovely and reassuring making our experience the absolute best.
It was also my husbands first time since he was a teenager.
I wish I could remember the loveliest girl who walked with my horse keeping me reassured helping me enjoy every second.
Thank you to everyone.
I will be back ?????? horses were so beautiful and well cared for.

I want to make a gift for a loved one who was engaged in horseback riding, I would like to buy from you a subscription for a month or two, or a certificate for lessons, do you have such an opportunity? at the moment interested in group lessons from an hour a day

Amazing place, I recently moved up to Scotland from England and had barely ridden before but i have been here just under a year now and already where I used to think I could only dream to be. Wouldn’t give that place up for the world. They find the perfect horse for you and get you so far in such little time.

My grand-daughter and I had a wonderful time at Fordbank. This was the 1st time on a horse at the age of 61 and Fiona made it possible. On the day Vincent and Rachel made us very welcome. My grand-daughter had a great time.

I have been a customer at fordbank for many years and I can honestly say I have never felt more at home at a yard more than I do here. The owner fiona has always been so kind to me and my needs as I am registered blind. I have taken many of my family and friends here and each and everyone of them have had a blast, coming away with the best of memories

My experience has only ever been enjoyable pleasant and always felt welcomed by everyone especially Fiona and Georgia. This is such a safe, family like run place.
Today I just wanted to say having returned and into my second lesson after a bad fall last year I feel completely supported, reassured, excited and catered for at my own pace. Georgia and Fiona at the time I fell off really took care of me and have taken me back with full encouragement.
Despite how busy this place is there’s never a day the care and respect for others isn’t genuinely given. These ladies work so hard, provide an amazing opportunity for so many from young to the older and the same level of dedication. I’ve seen so many progress and with these ladies I know I’ll get to a place I want to be.
My daughter learns here and it’s her favourite place to be as it is mine. I fully recommend FORDBANK to anyone.
Thank you Fiona and Georgia for being truly good people and professional at what you do.

Cant rate this yard enough, the owner and the staff are so welcoming and very understanding I've been taking lessons here for a good few years and Fiona and Georgia have always support and encourage me throughout my riding and I can't thank them enough, brilliant yard!! can't recommend enough!!

My two nieces have been going to this horse riding for years, the owner Fiona has been more than amazing with them and their horse, you could not meet a nicer person. In fact, with that being said all the staff at Ford bank are incredible. The stables are in great condition an the horses are extremely well looked after.

My cousins have attended horse riding here, now have their own horse at the stables and from their experience and mine, never have had any bother. Stables and horses are well looked after and staff couldn’t be any nicer.

Fiona and her daughter run a fantastic facility with very friendly, helpful and polite staff. My 12 year old niece recently attended an “Own a Pony day” at Fordbank and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere at the yard was so welcoming, and in these still somewhat unprecedented times, the owner (Fiona), has everything within the stables bang on meeting guidelines, which I personally thought was brilliant and I’m sure no mean feat!
On top of that my niece is now so looking forward to joining Fordbank Pony Club and learning to ride and make new friends along the way!
Thank you so much Fiona, another excited kid to join the gang!

Very disappointed, the girls that take the lesson's I found were very friendly but as for the owner definitely has a attitude problem. Put the price's up did not inform me and then gave lame excuses. There is other issues to long to go into. Would definitely not recommend. Not very well organized. Omg what a load of rubbish. You can make this rubbish up if you want but you know the truth. You have a disgusting attitude. So you didn't make a child cry by shouting at them. . I was not rude I questioned why I was no informed of the increase and my daughter in law was asking about pony party and that is how I found out or I wouldn't have until I turned up on the Sunday

Daughter loves going to pony club every Saturday and recently had a pony beauty party with 7 of her friends. There was something for everyone be it riding, decorating ponys pampering and crafts. Lovely couple of hours where the girls where totally spoilt!

I love spending time at Fordbank. Fiona and Gorgia are fantastic instructors, and the horses are loved and well cared. I have enjoyed both private and group lessons, and had the opportunity to experience summer beach rides....amazing. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fiona and Georgia provide an excellent standard of instruction and support to riders of all levels and experience. I have had lessons from both ladies and I honestly cannot praise them highly enough. Their experience is evident and their teaching manner is the perfect balance between helping you feel comfortable and encouraging you to go out with your comfort zone. I have no doubt that whatever your riding goals may be, the girls would be an invaluable resource in helping you get there.

My daughter has been learning to ride at Fordbank since she was 5. Now 7, I have watched her grow in confidence week after week with a smile from ear to ear from the moment she arrives to the moment she leaves. Yes, the area can be dirty, but it’s a working centre so that’s to be expected, it’s only mud and as my daughter says ‘once you get used to the smell of horse poop it’s actually quite nice’!! The instructors are very experienced and provide encouraging constructive advice. The horses are clearly well cared for and are out in the fields for at least 3 full days a week, ensuring they can rest after busy lessons.

I’m currently being taught to ride at Fordbank and cannot recommend them enough to anyone wanting to learn. The facilities at Fordbank are fab and Fiona and Georgia are two of the most patient, professional and informed instructors out there. The horses are so well looked after and a pleasure to ride and they have fantastic outdoor and indoor areas. All the girls at Fordbank are very friendly and welcoming and they have a wonderful way of putting you at ease and making you feel very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go over and above in helping you. There is a real family atmosphere at Fordbank. If you are looking for lessons, a hack, pony party or somewhere to stable your horse I would look no further than Fordbank. I have had an amazing time learning there.

FOR ME IT'S THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD WITH THE NICEST STAFF + BOTH FIONA + HER DAUGHTER GEORGIA ARE AMAZING AT WHAT THEY DO EVEN WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE DISABLED (or should I say especially with) That unfortunately can't be said for a lot of other school yards.

Great place for the kids ???????? my granddaughter went from a complete novice with no experience to a very competent rider, and jumping fences in a short period of time and her confidence has soared . All credit to the Fordbank staff for their patience and hard work . A credit to the equine community , and great facilities , lots of thanks to all .????
