I engaged with Allen & Harris as a perspective buyer of an investment property. They swiftly organised a viewing at a time that suited me.
I found Garry very knowledgable and helpful at my viewing.
I subsequently followed up with the office and spoke with Erin who fielded a number of queries I had. I then made an offer for the property. I was negotiated to offer at a higher level than I would have perhaps liked, however I accept that is Erin's role to work for the seller not the buyer.
I had an offer accepted and was updated throughout the process from A&H re timelines etc.
A positive experience from a buyers perspective.
The team at Paisley seem well equiped to sell any home at the optimum value.

My property was eventually sold however the first contact assigned to me was useless to be fair. I got a few calls when it was listed then the only contact for more than a month was automated messages to tell me about viewings but there was never any feedback or updates. Once I complained they quickly stepped up a few years and my property was sold within four days which is a very positive outcome in the end.

I wouldn't use the mortgage advisor service. They refer you a solicitor but doesn't always work out. If your happy waiting months and chasing the sale up yourself then use them, if not I wouldn't recommend.

Having seen a house for sale on the Allen and Harris Web site, we went to view the property. The agent was very polite and welcoming at the viewing and proceeded to show us around. They also assisted us in submitting an offer for the property and being successful with our offer, they went on to guide us through the next steps of the process. So the part of the business I dealt with was Brogan Mackay the mortgage advisor. She was incredibly professional and got us a great deal. Managed to get us a mortgage which was an extra 60 thousand on our last for only an extra hundred a month. The interest rate was much better than the bank gave us. As well as this I'm not the most organised person at times and I forgot to send in some paperwork which could have delayed us sorting the mortgage. Despite this brogan fast tracked getting our paper sorted and by the next morning had got our AIP sorted. Quick fast professional, could not recommend her enough.

I was extremely impressed with the high standard of staff and customer service that I recently experienced when having a house viewing. Throughout the whole process of phone calls, emailing and on the day of the viewing, the staff were all very professional and helpful. Very helpful and friendly team. The initial view of the property, I wanted to buy, was arranged for the next day. A couple of weeks later I wanted a second view and this was arranged for the same day. Both times Andrew met me at the property on time. Their mortgage advisor, Fiona, did an excellent job as well, despite my low income based on a zero-hour contract. Job's done.

I am currently looking for a flat and came across a great property which I needed to arrange a viewing for through this estate agent. Very shortly after I emailed to ask for another viewing or more information but didn't get any response. I then phoned and was told the place was under offer with no notification from the agent or update on the website to show this. This is ridiculous and especially infuriating given the dismissive attitude of the employee on the phone. From the information I received, this must have been concluded around the time I had the viewing and I was not made aware of this likelihood by the estate agent and therefore didn't rush. Also, I had an appointment with their mortgage advisor who couldn't find any deals better than moneysupermarket was offering me. All I can say is I'm glad I won't have to pay their "lifetime" fee of £499!

Dissapointed by service. Mortgage consultant is incompetent, been let down three times by her. Turning into a goose chase and as a paying client this simply is not good enough. She's very bad mannered and highly unprofessional.

Booked a valuation, got my confirmation email followed by 3 texts reminding me of date and time, sounds great right? Valuation day comes round and they don't show on time, called the shop after an hour to no answer, called head office who asked if I had been in and could I have missed them. Was told they would call me back to tell me what had happened within 5 minutes. 24 hours later I'm still awaiting this call back.
Needless to say if they do get in touch then I won't be using them. If there had been a problem then I'd have rearranged with them, but to not even receive a call or text is pretty poor. Manners and courtesy cost nothing.
