If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I wish I had read the previous reviews before agreeing a tenancy with them. Quite possibly the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They were absolutely lovely whilst signing the tenancy agreement with them, however it didn't take long for the problems and change in behaviour. 0 communication, often ignored when requesting repairs. Property had a huge mold problem which was identified within a month living there, bathroom window did not open, and was often screamed at when contacting them. Everyone I have spoken with at Drummonds has been arrogant and aggressive to deal with. Avoid at all costs, would never rent a property with this company again no matter how desperate I was for a property.

Viewed a house in regards to buying it, placed an offer on said house for asking price and then had a week with no contact from the estate agents. After a few emails sent trying to chase the offer to we were told that they were going with another offer. Poor communication from this estate agents has potentially lost their client money as we were prepared to offer more. As of now (1month ish later, the house we placed an offer on is still on the market) We will never deal with this estate agents again and would certainly discourage friends and family from using them in the future.

I have had excellent service from the Drummond family for many years, as a tenant as well as a landlord, and also through the buying and selling process. They are attentive, quick to respond to any queries and offer a professional yet friendly service. I would employ them at any time in the future, and recommend to anyone that needs this service.

Drummonds have been absolutely excellent throughout the 6 months of viewings and through to completion on the property of my late sister. They have visited the property on a regular basis to ensure the house was safe & secure & they have kept us aware of any updated information. Our grateful thanks to the Drummond family for their care & attention during the process.

I have rented properties my entire life, and never had such an appalling agent.
Very happy and nice whilst you sign up, but after?
Customer service is terrible. Waiting over a week for a reply to an email regarding repairs.
Crazy when the renter has to show legislation on their responsibilities!
Avoid at all costs!!!

Worst property management I ever seen! Rented many places but this is really over and beyond! Meant to have shielded from Covid, but I didn’t so I can pay the rent. When I had been identified as a possible contact, and had no running hot water didn’t have a plumber for a week and a half. Now it’s going to take even longer because they need a part for the boiler. There was even a time I was told I would have to pay for the boiler repairs when it went off because the supplier changed my gas and electric meter! Don’t rent from this agency! Save your money and trouble!

Messed about when viewing properties. Go with someone who actually gets back to their customers and let's them apply for houses that they view. Disgusting sloppy service. After reading other very similar and even worse reviews below, it looks like I've had a lucky escape. Don't waste your time.

Staff in Drummonds we always very responsive, very helpful and efficient and polite. Sadly we marketed out property just before Covid 19 and thus we got very few chances to sell our property on the open market but i would definitely use Drummonds again in normal circumstances.

The amount of times we had to chase this property we were interested in renting. First we viewed and it was on the market, then we are told its off the market, (stays on the website) called them back and its still on the market but needs work needs doing... We are the only applicants. Checks done, we have a dog who lives with family at present property, but would not be moving with us, but they didnt believe us! i am a 40 year old professional. Ill never deal with you again. How do you stay in business reading your other reviews?

I moved into one of drummonds long term let houses in April 2017. The house was nice, but the heating facilities was basic (and that's a compliment.) The heaters on the wall were electric and plugged in. There was one downstairs and 2 upstairs (one of them trips the fuses once it's been on for 20m). Eventually they came and installed an extra 2 heaters, baring in mind I had a new born and it was almost winter. One of the new heaters didn't work. I contacted drummonds about this and nothing was done. In december as i was laid watching tv in my bedroom i could smell smoke. Looked and one of the plugs on my heater had set alight! The fuse was physically burning. I burnt myself pulling the plug out on the melted plastic to stop the entire wall setting alight. Luckily they came and changed the plug, I was told the heaters wernt meant for constant use (obviously in December with a 1 and a half year old I needed them on most of the day to just get the place above 15c). And that they would contact the owner and get newer heaters that were made for frequent use. When I contacted them two weeks later, I was asked "well the heaters work don't they" and that they wouldn't be changing them. A couple of weeks later the heater broke in my little boys room. Luckily I got there before that set alight. There were other concerns I addressed drummonds with but the heating was the most important, they let me and my little boy live in a freezing cold house for a year and a half. The house was (and still is) not appropriate for anyone to live in, and would advise anyone not to rent with this company. Luckily I escaped, loosing 200 of my deposit (140 on cleaning) Which I have just rang drummonds and asked about, Colin Drummond getting extremely agitated with me and raising his voice down the phone trying to state all the issues with the house (which now mean something because the issues while I was there were never addressed, apart from when i contacted the owner of the house who is lovely may I add). Drummonds, I strongly suggest you work on social skills and actually listening to the people who pay you hundreds of pounds a month in the future, I wouldn't like to see your buisness go up in flames (like how the house I lived in almost did).

Not very nice people ,signed up for long term tenancy , 6 months later advised to move out as landlord wanted to sell property, to add insult to injury deducted £50 from bond ,for a cleaning company to clean mould from bathroom, recieving a receipt with no company address or contact telephone number on it ,then found out 3 months later it was our fault in the first place that the mould was there , cleaner obviously didnt do his job properly, COME ON REGULATERS , regulate , fake receipt ,fake people
