23rd May 2024 (17 weeks ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!

From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

3rd Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)We sold two properties and bought our new house through Sanderson Young. From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!
27th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)Avoid using Bridgfords. They lie are Totally unprofessional and unreliable from start to finish. While they did find a buyer for my property quickly. They did not do any viewings and it wasn’t made clear to me the seller or the people viewing my property that I was showing them around until the agents didn’t turn up. The communication is poor at best. They ignore your emails and calls the majority of the time. And then when you complain it gets ignored. After we finally completed I asked them to call me on completion day as I posted keys through there letter box as was moving out of town. They never called me at all despite in an email them confirming they would. They were very quick to send me an invoice for payment. I raised another complaint with the branch manager and finally he rang me and said he would give me a discount on the calling fee I accepted. Then he went on holiday and now the whole Bridgfords team we denying he offered the discount to me s goodwill gesture. I would say in my Experian’s with them they call you when you can’t prove what has been said or be used against them as apparently they don’t record calls for training and monitoring etc. make sure if you do speak to them you record yourself or have a witness like i did . So to sum up they do very little work for you as the customer but expect you to pay full fees they lie to you in emails and phone calls then deny the whole thing despite me having email history of both the manager and sale team not responding to my emails for days or not at all unless I hounded them for a response then they speak to you like you haven’t sold a house before I have bought and sold plenty through estate agents and never had this experience

They are attentive, quick to respond to any queries and offer a professional yet friendly service. I would employ them at any time in the future, and recommend to anyone that needs this service.

16th Sep 2024 (3 days ago)One of the reasons we chose Pattinson Estate Agents (then Browns) in Norton to sell our house was that we’d bought it through them in August 2015! As we now chose them to manage its sale for us, it shows how happy we were with their service and confident in their success rate. Right from the start it was clear that the company we’d bought the house from had grown in the 8-plus years we’d owned the house. For example, the Pattinson take over, innovative technology and the growth of online property portals. This time around, Tony Aspinall was our first point of contact when he did a realistic valuation that set the tone for the rest of our dealings with Pattinson. We found him both knowledgeable (in terms of the area, demand, and prices), approachable, and very affable - a real pleasure to chat to. Another star of the show was Charlotte Kitching, who was always available when we needed any help or advice as the sale moved forward. (Our solicitor made a point of singling out Charlotte for her assistance during the closing stages of the sale. A time when everything can so easily go wrong or get delayed.) As we neared completion day, we came across a small fly in the ointment… Because of the change-over from Browns to Pattinson, the Norton branch was due to close for a week-long refurb. This was starting on the day of our move! So, what to do about the keys for the new owners? Not to worry; Charlotte and Tony put their heads together and solved this hiccup by getting Tony to collect a spare set of keys from our house on the morning of the move. He then met up with the new owners to hand the keys over once given the OK by our solicitor. An elegant, well thought out, solution that completed our sale. As to cost, this was on a fixed fee basis. We like this way of working as we new exactly what we were going to pay, so could budget for it. The fee included writing / designing the sale brochure and measuring the house to draw up a floor plan. A ‘for sale’ board and listing on the Pattinson website and the Rightmove / Zoopla property portals were also part of the deal. One point to note here is when buying our new house, we were surprised at the number of properties that didn’t have a floor plan. This was essential for us as we were travelling to Blackpool (122 miles each way) to view properties. And a floor plan would have indicated if the property met our needs before arranging a viewing. We queried this omission with a couple of estate agents in the Blackpool area. And learnt the lack of a floor plan was because the vendor wasn’t willing to pay to have one drawn up! Cheapest is not always the best… So, overall, the price we paid was reasonable and the service we received from the good folk at Pattinson’s Norton Branch was brilliant. And for these reasons, we have no hesitation in recommending them. And while we can’t speak for all branches in the Pattinson chain, if they share the same ethos as Norton, you should be in safe hands.

27th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)I did appoint JBrown to sell my property in Bromley and I was very happy at the beginning about the way they approached me and how they worked to get the property on the market quickly. Soon after they changed quite a lot in terms of communication, Zara used to reply randomly ( basically when she got a chance ) whilst Komal (owner)never replied to my emails.( she should learn how to deal with people). Despite that was a clear sight of a lack of professionalism, I left things going ahead smoothly. Zara kept me informed about the buyer's interest in seeing the property and I arranged access all the time. Then I had to chase her to receive feedback from customers, she never made them aware of the outcome or sending any REPORT. Even though I left them to carry on their job. They eventually got 2 offers and let me know to appoint a solicitor which I did. Both times buyers pulled out and she never contacted me to let me know, on the contrary, I had to call to find out what happened. I am still not sure if she really received any offers because I never received proof of that. The 12-week agreement came to an end and I previously let them know by email that I would not renew the mandate( no response at all as usual). Finally, I chased them again to remove my property from the market but they either removed it or replied to my emails. After 2 weeks of waiting for them I decided to contact Rightmove, and Zoopla etc explain the matter and they removed the property immediately. This morning magically I received an email From Zara saying that my property has now been removed! You are a team of liars, hopefully, people will be away from such an unprofessional “Estate Agency”.. I lost time but you lost quite a lot of money. That's what you deserve!!!

18th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)We have sold STC through Michael Poole and they have been great - Chris came to do our valuation - he was thorough, friendly and far from pushy! Helen is our Sales Progression contact and she has been so helpful to the extent she even contacted solicitors of our purchase to hurry them along a little given we are facing delays there, unfortunately we aren’t getting this service without pushing for it from the other “estate agent” - some of the team in the Eston branch also offered to look over our paperwork with us - we just wish we had bought through Michael Poole too!!

29th Aug 2024 (21 days ago)The company were so accommodating and helpful at the start of the tenancy, unfortunately this manner did not stay in place. Lies & false deadlines regarding receiving my deposit back have continued for weeks. Feels like the business is more proactive when it comes to keeping the landlord(s) happy, than assisting tenants to receive what is legally their own funds. Whole heartedly would not recommend Horzions Lettings & Sales for anyone looking to rent, cannot comment on the Sales side of the business. However, if it is anything like the utter shambles of the Rental side, I would strongly advise to avoid.
