From day 1 we received the customer care we were promised. Our house sold within 2 days of being on the market by taking on board the advice given and we equally found our new home as quickly.
Everything went so smoothly with no hiccups at all.
The communication between us and North gates was second to none and we appreciated all the time given when we wanted to view our new property on numerous occasions. The property was unoccupied so Jess kindly took her time to let us view the house and measure up etc as and when we needed to.

Northgates have been amazing from day one. Lee first came to see our property and he explained their sales procedure and what they could do for us. Their fees are very competitive and they deserve every penny.
Communication is fantastic, the whole team are on the ball so if someone is not in the office it’s not a problem. They are quick to respond to queries and nothing is a bother to them. Completion day was long and stressful for us but the team were at the end of the phone throughout the day (and after office hours) to deal with any issues and support us.
We highly recommend Northgates to anyone buying/selling/renting.

I am unable to praise the staff in Northgates enough to express how wonderful and supportive they are. We were lucky enough to have Hayley who lived our ups and downs with us.
From the beginning the professionalism was evident as I received a lot of interest from genuine buyers. My house was sold within weeks in excess of the asking price.
Our neighbour who was interested in our house, had been trying to sell their property for some time unsuccessfully. They put their house up with Northgates and although ours sold first theirs was not long behind. They went on to find their dream house and moved soon after.
Unfortunately our buyers sale collapsed and we lost the house we were buying in France. Hayley worked non stop supporting us every step of the way even speaking with our vendor’s estate agent in France.
The result was 6 months later we are in France waiting to move into our new house next week. The one we lost but regained due to Hayley liaising with the French agent and providing them with the reassurance they needed to wait for us.
Hayley will always be welcome to visit us and we will always be grateful for her support through some really stressful times.

I was very unsure of the full end to end process and at what stages I should be doing things, after expressing this concern to Jess she provided a very helpful buyer's guide that she had put together which made things much simpler and easier for us. Jess also went above and beyond, checking in regularly and even conducting a viewing for us after her work hours to ensure we could view the home we were sure we wanted. She relentlessly chased solicitors on both sides and helped us push them to get the completion date we needed. She's even made herself available to help with any queries after the purchase of the house.

I am a professional landlord, who has been selling off his portfolio of properties over the past few years. I have used quite a few Teesside estate agents to help in the process. And without doubt Northgate Estate Agents in Billingham are my go-to company, no other company has touched them by a running mile.
The first property I put with them in the summer of 2023. I had tried 3 different agents previously to sell it with no luck. Northgate took over the sale of this property, and had a buyer within the first week. I was appointed Jess Hope to handle the sale for me, her professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail was second to none. Issues with the other party’s solicitor dragging their feet at every turn. And my solicitor saying she could not see what the issues were as they had everything, they need to complete the sale. Jess stepped in and went above and beyond for me; within a day she had the completion date agreed.
I then put my next two properties I was selling with them, and again in Jess’s hands. And today I found out the completion is agreed for next Friday on one. And hopefully the next is not far behind being sold. All through the process of selling my properties. Jess has kept me updated through emails and WhatsApp; nothing seems to have been to much trouble for her.
Also thank you to Lee for his outstanding knowledge of the local property market. It’s a pleasure to discuss selling a property to someone, who knows what he is talking about and not giving any Bull S!!!.

Following this I decided after many years of acting landlord to one property I owned. I would use North Gates property management services. I wish I had done this a lot sooner. It was a relief to have their expertise taking care of the property as there are so many changes to the legislation it was making it a mine field. Also any repairs or queries from the Tennant we delt with promptly and professionally. I couldn't thank Tracy enough.

We had a few issues during our process with solicitors and Jess from Northgates was always there to help, she would contact the solicitors and make sure the issues were resolved straight away. My experience with Northgate has been, from start to finish, exceptional. The whole process with the sales team when enquiring about a letting was simply tremendous and the service and communication second to none. A chirpy, friendly and enthusiastic response to all enquiries. What has really stood out though is the attention to detail. Tracey, my letting agent who saw me through the move, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get everything sorted immediately. Communication was prompt and very effective. Everything just seemed so easy compared to other letting agencies I have used.

Northgate have been amazing. It really felt like they were supporting us through the sale of our house. We would have multiple buyers round who stated they had been referred to the property from Northgate. They were also very responsive when purchasing a property through them. Always there at then end of the phone.

To be honest we have done all the chasing and running to get the sale pushed through. I think with forethought the house sold itself. No real contact from point of offer. I worked directly with buyer and seller to get the prpcess moving. It was not value for money in my opinion.
