DO NOT USE THIS REAL ESTATE COMPANY!!!! i advise anybody not to use this real estate company. this company unscrupulously takes money from people and dose not hold up to their contracts nor housing legislations. they are quick to contact you if the subject is money, but when it comes down to repairs or unsafe problems in the house it can take weeks. this company should be shut down. I rented a room in an apartment in Shoreditch for 3 nights. Great location by Columbia flower market and easy walk to Shoreditch High Street, which is what I wanted. The room and the apartment were as advertised, accurate and up-to-date photos on airbnb. Everything working, modern and clean. I had reason to call the office on the Saturday when I checked in and the woman that answered the phone was very helpful and the query quickly resolved. I read quite a few negative reviews here, and I have to say my experience was nothing like that. I shall certainly use the company again. Very satisfied.... Read more

This rental service was despicable. As a reasonable person with extensive positive rental history the staff and conditions were disgusting. We ran out of hot water, our toilet broke several times, our drains were broken , none of these things were fixed properly. We had the owner of the property bust into our house all the time, without warning, sometimes aggressively. We tried to address these issues with East London Rooms to no end. They don't answer calls or emails, they lie and palm you off to other people in the office. They are lazy with no care for their tenants well being. Particularly as a female I felt my privacy and safety was compromised so heavily that I had to leave the property and reported East London Rooms to the relevant authorities and statutory bodies, the entire experience, lasting almost a year was horrible. I urge all people considering to choose another agent. I have since moved and have found a really positive agency where I feel valued and safe. ... Read more

I had the bad experience to rent a room through this Agency. When I moved in the house as well as the room was extremely dirty with dust, stains and food everywhere. I complained to them, but unfortunately the didn't do anything. I had to spend a day cleaning. Moreover they have been charging us for a monthly cleaning service during the three months I lived there, and at the end of the tenancy agreement they deducted me 50 GBP from my deposit with cleaning purposes. They also deducted some other extra costs with no reason. They had the duty to return my deposit within 14 days after the end of the agreement and it took them a month. I have dealt with different agencies in East London but this seems to be the worst in terms of service and their prices are extremely overpriced. I absolutely do not recommend them. Avoid at all costs. They will put you in horrible flats and when you move out, they won't return the deposit. They really are the lowest of human kind. The owner Emran has even got his friends, girlfriend, employees etc writing fake reviews as he would otherwise never get any good ones. If you think estate agents are normally bad, you have not seen these people yet, they are the worst of the worst.... Read more

We rented out a holiday apartment from this company and was extremely pleased with the service we received from the staff . They helped us with transfers from the airport, our check in was smooth and the apartment was to a very high standard. I will definitely recommend your services.You made our stay really pleasant. AWFUL COMPANY. The staff lied to me almost every time I spoke with them. They moved us into a filthy room still full of the previous tenants possessions, including their dirty bedding. Kitchen had severe mould - no one ever came to look at it. Shower was wired incorrectly and cut out every time we used it - never fixed. Bathroom sink held up by a plank of wood. Tried to illegally remove every tenant after just over a month because they'd fallen out with the owner of the property over repairs. Please do not even consider using East London Rooms!... That's the WORST real estate AGENCY I have ever come across. Have been renting a room from them for 1,5 year for 700 pounds a month. The standard of flat was very BAD and even that they raised rent, they didn't improve any aspect of their tenants living conditions for the whole rent time. For 2,5 MONTHS we had NO HOT WATER, agents keep IGNORING e-mails about it. When I went to agency after a month, an agent replied to me: "Is this really such a big problem for you?". The plumbers they hire, came to our flat to take a look at the problem at 11PM during week, when everybody wanted to go to sleep. It took them another month to fix it. When I complained in agency that this is a serious breach of contract on their side, as all the media are included in the rent and I will pay 100 pounds less, they took 100 pounds from my deposit money! The manager threatened me on the phone saying "Looks like you wont stay in this room any longer". The "refurbishment" of kitchen was conducted by Landlord himself who had no idea abut this kind of job, and what he did was just RIDICULOUS! It sounds like a bad comedy but he just replaced a 30x30cm patch of old wallpaper over the cooker, which took him 2 days, not mentioning he didn't clean or tidy at all after conducting all the work, leaving complete mess. MOLD on the walls in rooms, bathroom, kitchen was disgusting. Sending multiple e-mails to agency, multiple calls, have been assured this will be solved.... after 1,5 year it was still the same, no one ever came. Agency DOESN'T CARE at all about the tenants, but they are first to send you a text on 1st of month that the rent is due today. They are UNPROFESSIONAL in every single detail. The lady that was cleaning our flats for few months, suddenly works as an agent in agency behind the desk with VERY BASIC ENGLISH skills and knows completely NOTHING! ... Read more

This is by far the worst estate agent I have ever come across. The furniture and appliances are ancient. Properties infested with mice. They refuse to carry out essential and non-essential repairs, they tell you it is your fault, shout and bully you. If you want anything fixed they ask you to pay for it yourself. We had bed bugs, hot water not available for more than two weeks, mice running around freely in the kitchen and the rooms just to name a few issues. They are way overpriced for this area especially when you consider the fact that they are not providing you with any repairs. They come up with illegitimate ways to extract as much money of tenants as possible. The bulk of the tenants are foreigners who don't know their rights as tenants sot they are taking advantage of them. They have the highest turnover of tenants, people come in for a couple of months, and they run away. So please spare yourself extra and unwarranted hustle. ... Read more
