Would never ever use Pygott & Crone again. Had a property on the market for 18 month and still NEVER SOLD it. Listed it with Winkworth once I’d run out of patience and lost thousands and guess what.......it sold in less than 4 weeks. Initially with P&C I had accepted a bid and after 12 weeks the people buyers pulled out, turns out they couldn’t afford the house and P&C never asked to see relevant proof of funds. House was reduced twice and was a steal and they still couldn’t sell it. Like I say, the house went on with Winkworth after 18 month with P&C and it sold to the first viewers they showed round. P&C always talked a good game but they were useless, over promise and under deliver. They cost me thousands in mortgage payments on an empty property. There was also numerous occasions people wanted to view but P&C could t accommodate.... Read more

Dave Coley has been nothing but helpful from the start and answered any questions I've had quickly and professionally. He was flexible with the viewing times and even took the time to explain the surrounding area. The information he told me showed he was knowledgable about the area and this makes you feel like you are truly dealing with a professional. Overall I'd rate my experience with Dave 5/5 and would recommend him to anyone else looking for a place to rent.... Read more

Went to view a flat to let, couldn't be shown around because they had no key for the gate. The lettings manager made it out that he could do a massive favour by showing us around at 17:30 on another day like it isn't somehow his job? The flat was good and we put in the application, once I had paid the final deposit and we had agreed a moving date I was told new information about the property that they didn't tell us at the viewing (pure incompetence). I sorted out this new information with gas and electricity providers only to be told that there would be no key for us to move in on the agreed day. Despite having 2 weeks in between, and presumably some time before we actually viewed the property, the agents had failed to update their information and keys. Honestly the people I have spoken to on the phone have been very friendly and helpful (especially Liam who I apologise for being a bit harsh on), but the lettings manager (Mark?) is entirely useless, and a classic salesman type. The cherry on top was that they told us during the failed viewing that they had raised their referencing and admin fees substantially to prepare for the proposed ban in 6-12 months. Just the worst experience I have ever had with a letting agents.... Read more
