Stay away from this company. I made an offer for a place that was accepted. However after few days I retracted the offer because another offer was accepted closer to where I needed to be. I wrote Micheal apologizing that i had to do this. We hadn't sign any documents up to this point nor i was requested a deposit. Michael response was a message full of personal insults. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE The owner, Michael, confirmed our property was secured. All our documentation had been accepted, including positive references from previous landlords. I was told that my draft tenancy agreement was being drawn up. Two days after I was supposed to receive the agreement, I had heard nothing from Michael, and so assumed that he was busy with other properties. I then had a text from him saying that "Head Office" had stopped us from having the tenancy. I phoned Michael up straight away and he said the reason was because we hadn't viewed the property in person - despite him previously saying that online viewings were fine. He also said that he knew the morning before about the decision to stop us from having tenancy, but didn't tell me because it "didn't make any difference". I asked to speak to them myself, but Michael said this wasn't possible because Head Office was abroad! I've seen on Companies House records that Michael and his family own the business and are based in the United Kingdom - and so the Head Office claim was rubbish. We were due to move into the property on 15th September, and now we've been left with nothing. I have a job in London with nowhere to live. Clearly he received a higher offer and then dropped us completely. I have attached a screenshot of my message from Michael.
