In April 2023 we decided to put our beautiful home on the market and instructed a high street estate agent as sole agent. Despite everyone telling us how fantastic our home was we didn’t receive any offers and interest soon dwindled. In August 2023 we appointed Fine & Country Marlborough and what a totally amazing experience from day one! Kate Ormand was our contact and she was truly amazing! She worked tirelessly trying to sell our house and remained positive and encouraging even in times when the market was quiet. She always kept us updated and was always contactable. We cannot praise her enough. Ed and Pip from the Marlborough team were also always helpful and supportive. We sold our house recently and Kate made sure the whole process was as smooth as possible even in challenging times. The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ couldn’t have been more true as Kate went way above and beyond to ensure our sale was successful.
If you’re thinking of selling your home anytime soon do not bother with any other estate agent because Kate and the Marlborough team are simply the best!

Ed and the team are simply a dream to work with. Having been on and off the market for a while with a couple of agents, they brought a real boost of life and enthusiasm to the property sale process - professional and a pleasure at all times, taking a real interest in the property and its charms, and exploring every avenue and the many many tools in their armoury to get the exposure the property needed and deserved - certainly not your ‘standard’ high street agent…!
Would 100% recommend, and 100% will use again next time! Thank you ????

We would highly recommend Ed and the team at Fine & Country Marlborough & Devizes. We instructed Ed after having a frustrating time with another agent. Right from the start we benefited from the personal service that Ed can offer, the marketing materials were prepared to a very high standard. The viewings were always fully accompanied and well organised to minimise disruption with with good transparency as to the positions of the interested parties. We ended up selling the house several times due to chains collapsing in a difficult market with Ed updating the marketing materials to keep them fresh. When it came to offers Ed was great at managing competing bids to get us the best value. As Ed expanded his team we continued to receive great support from Kate and Pip. We are very grateful for all their support and persistence in eventually getting our sale over the line.
