I've had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Rich in the purchase of two properties and sale of one property over the last 10 years. He is, at all times, the consummate professional and certainly the best estate agent I have ever encountered. He and his small team provide a highly personalised service and maintain great communications throughout what can be quite a stressful buying, selling and moving process. Jonathan is an expert in the local area housing market, and provides excellent, realistic advice and expectation management. I will certainly use this company if I ever come to sell my home in the future, and highly recommend them to any prospective buyer or seller.

Highly recommended. I met four estate agents based in Marlborough, went with Brearley & Rich and know I made the right choice. Selling a house these days is less about getting noticed - Rightmove does that - it’s about the details that get the sale over the line, and Jonathan was on it from start to finish. Paired with Merrimans solicitors, you have a strong team in your corner.

We instructed Brearley & Rich after being on the market for 6 months with a different estate agent. We were immediately impressed by their professionalism, as they made a difficult process as easy as it could be for us. For example, after every viewing, we had feedback within the hour, without having to chase them to request it. At the outset Matthew provided the right advice to achieve a sale and the completion of our family house in the timescale we were looking for. Both Matthew and Jonathan were courteous and professional throughout the transaction and were able to step in when any issues arose. Really personal and professional experience right from my first phone call. We had plenty of time to look at the house on our first viewing - Jonathan had advised the vendors to put a pack together of guarantees, service reports etc. which answered many of our immediate questions. I cannot praise Jonathan & Matthew at Brearley & Rich highly enough. I wanted to use a small estate agent who offered a personal touch and I was not disappointed. From start to finish they listened to what I wanted in selling my house after 28 years, we agreed a realistic asking price to sell and it was sold within a week. Communication was excellent throughout, no question was a daft one and I felt fully supported by them as I was doing all this on my own. Their recommendation for a Solicitor (Setfords) was also excellent. All I can say is thank you so very much!
