Karen is a huge asset to the team at Hungerford, she is kind and thoughtful and always had time for me to talk about anything. I will always remember Karen saying “it just takes one Sam”- fantastic lady, selling and buying houses is stressful so everyone needs a Karen when they have to do it.

I initially asked you due to your profile and the proximity of your office in Hungerford. The speed of your response and the enthusiasm that you showed during the first inspection were impressive. More importantly the advice that you gave me was totally adhered to and ultimately you delivered what you said you would in terms of service and results. Along the way I found your continuous feedback and updated negotiations both helpful and reassuring... Would you now please find us another house for our new lives!
I recently moved over from South Africa and I received absolutely fantastic service! I was helped by Rosie and she couldn't be more helpful even if she tried. Very friendly and just brilliant! I would definitely use Hamptons again in the future.
Don't use Hamptons!! We have been hugely disappointed. We chose Hamptons as they have offices in several other areas and thought they would have good reach. They sold the house (although it was priced to sell), but the disorganisation and incompetence in their office is staggering. After the first showing we came back to find the front door was unlocked! Upon issuing the keys to the photographer they omitted to say we had an intruder alarm! When we were sent the draft brochure we asked that some pictures were changed as we were unhappy with them - it got published anyway, without our sign off and the Pièce de résistance... We had said we didn't want a "for sale" sign up as we didn't want everybody in the local to know our business, yet as soon as we exchanged contracts, an oversize post card with a big photo of our house dropped though the letterbox with the title "Sold in Marlborough" We were truly shocked, I can't believe that such a big agency can operate in this way. And what did they say when I complained? "well it's in our terms of business" - They could have asked!!!! I'll never use Hamptons and would advise you not to bother either
Very poor managed lettings experience.
The house was unfinished but on leaving the landlord has asked for our full deposit. Watch the 'we have had loads of offers on this' complete lies. House had faulty heating, water leaks and a vile smell. We had 30+ visits in just over a year. Marlborough has many London customers so they don't give a monkey what you think.
Humberts were amazing at selling my house and also dealing with my neurotics ramblings when trying to navigate the stressful process of exchange and complete. The whole team knew who I was when I rang up and were extremely professional yet friendly. Couldn't recommend them more!
I had a very good experience with Humberts, Marlborough Office. This branch has a great range of properties available on its books and I quickly found a house I liked, which I have now purchased with the help of their polite and enthusiastic staff. The team went out of their way to ensure the smooth passage of this process, holding my hand throughout in spite of some rather rocky moments (due to problems further back in the 'chain'). They were obviously working hard for the vendor but it always felt as if I, the buyer, was of primary importance... Highly recommended!
