Avoid this estate agent to manage your Airbnb or service appartment. It's a total waste of time and money......speaking from a point of view of an avid landlord in Glasgow. The rude, arrogant and unfriendly manner they treat you as a customer is very disappointing. Kathleen is so unprofessional, rude, unapologetic, unhelpful and very defensive. She speaks and act like she's doing you a favour after paying with your own hard earned money. We checked into an Airbnb apartment managed by this agent called Cozy Arran View Apartment' The apartment was filty, smelly and had strands of pet hair and human hair in different parts of the house. The property also had dusty curtains, dusty lamp shades, uncleaned mirror from previous guest. My youngest daughter had strands of pet hair in her socks and hair within 10 mins of staying in the living room. My oldest daughter is allergic to pet hair and so we couldn't bear staying in the apartment any longer than 30 mins after arriving. Regardless of whether an apartment is pet friendly or free, the host ought to have made reasonable effort in cleaning up the apartment properly before checking in the next guest. When I complained to the host(Kathleen), she was very rude, unfriendly, and very defensive rather than making effort to remediate the issues raised. Due to my daughter's health condition we couldn't bear staying in the apartment. As she was already sneezing and itchy shortly after arriving at the apartment. Worst experience ever. Avoid this estate agent. Will definitely not recommend them or use them. Never never again.... Read more

The home I rented from them was below standard. Rough casting cracking and letting water and dampness into the home. Garden was turning into a landslide. Rotten floor boards due to water damage. Reported those faults and constantly chasing them up on any updates of repairs in the 2 years I was there and nothing got done. I ended up moving because it was becoming a health issue. I would not recommend anyone to rent a home from them. Stay clear.... Read more

Nathan does his best to palm you off with rubbish all refering back to the owners . No return calls or emails. These are the people the landlords association want to take to task.... Read more

Never again would I rent from this letting agent. Numerous emails about the same issues and nothing gets looked at. Took months for them to fix a plumbing issue. They either ignore your emails or partly answer. Mould from a structural issue, fire alarm goes off inconsistently throughout the day, had to wash my dishes in the bathroom sink for the first month. Insinuated I caused the mould problem as they apparently never had an issue before but the one wall has wet patches and clearly have some sort of leak. Reported the same issues and still waiting for problems to get fixed. Cooker broke and was told the landlord would be happy to replace as it's an old cooker, never got replaced. I am now being forced to leave the flat as I can't live there, I couldn't shower there for a couple months, had to live elsewhere while paying full rent. Can't cook dinner as the fire alarm goes off constantly which must be unsafe as it clearly isn't working properly. The mould has been reported numerous times and still nothing. Stay clear from this letting agent, never before have I had an experience like this from renting a property. I am now looking into legal action as they want a 28 day notice for a flat they haven't done their job on and a flat I can't live in. Please think twice about renting from Ayrshire Letting.... I have rented a flat from Ayrshire Lettings for more than a year and a half and have always found Kathleen and her staff to be unfailingly helpful and courteous. If I ever have any questions or requests, I always feel welcome in their office and my requests receive prompt attention. I have to say that I find the one-star reviews rather puzzling as they bear no resemblance to my experience of Ayrshire Lettings of West Kilbride - nor obviously do they to the other 5-star reviewers. So, thank you Kathleen and your team. You all deserve the 5 stars.... Read more
