Easy communication. Friendly and helpful staff.
When enquiring about viewings, received a telephone call and consulted on my budget and must haves; then taken to three properties in my price range and chosen area in one afternoon.
Key collection and document signing was simple and streamlined.
As a Tennant, Homemaker were great to deal with. Any issues which did arise were dealt with promptly. Ms K Hejka-Smolak is great at her Job.
Would confidently recommend to anyone.
Four stars as I cannot yet comment on the outgoing process.

Estate Agents of my previous property. Rented accommodation, they were very lovely staff and all were welcoming and provided information on request. Always would answer questions I had. Quick and reliable. Didn't have to contact them for repairs so I don't know how they are in terms of that, I went direct through landlord. Potentially need to advertise more, even in Earlsdon area not as well known.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this agency for months. First, my washing machine has been broken for TWO weeks, and despite a technician visit, it’s still not working. When I called to follow up, the lady on the phone actually laughed and told me she was on holiday for two weeks, leaving me without any clear idea of when this issue would be fixed. Who’s going to pay for my laundry during this time?
To make things worse, this isn’t the first time. I’ve had slow internet for months now, and despite repeatedly asking for help, nothing has been done. It seems like there’s no urgency in resolving problems, and the lack of professionalism is shocking. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Absolutely unacceptable service!

I am writing this review in the capacity of a time-poor property investor.
I approached Anthony and the nice people at Homemaker Properties in Dec 2023. We had a free consultation to review my current portfolio and critically appraise on how I could expand, with realistic goals in mind. Six months on, I am on the verge to complete with two great properties in high demand areas. I am excited to begin the search for a third property.

I sadly have to move out a property outside of Home maker properties due to reasons that are out out everyone’s control.
I must admit I am always adamant when it comes to deal with state agents/landlords however the service they provide it’s outstanding. They actually bother and care in keeping their tenants satisfied and happy (which is very hard to find nowadays)
Credit where credit is due; I have to admit that workers Liam, Lauren, Karolina and big boss Anthony have been very helpful during my stay in one of their properties. They are all very competent people and it’s sad to say bye. Definitely would recommend ????

At the beginning I had 0 expectations, only because in the past I had very bad experiences with different agencies that did not take care of the tenants' needs. I can only say that this agency shows professionalism, always listening to people's needs and everything that bothers them. In a few weeks, they managed to fix everything that was needed, compared to the other agencies, which after a few years left behind only problems. I recommend it to everyone.??

Flat was dirty on arrival, cleaning was issued but minimal changes were done still absolutely dirty, customer service was slow, shady and mostly lies. No issues got sorted. When it came to money they were quick to demand but slow for everything else. Staff were rude and pointed fingers quickly without resolving any issues

The team is extremely efficient. I called for a viewing, got an appointment 1 hour after that. I like it so went on to submit the application. All the paperwork was done in the evening. And I moved in next morning. Everything, from the initial call to the time I have the key, lasted less than 24 hours. It was incredible.

The agency's staffs whom I maintained contacts with, Sian and Sophie (or Jolene), I believe, are very supportive and helpful. The tenant's documents and deposits are processed and managed quite upright. Although, sometimes they could be unresponsive and require chasing. Communications such as the requirements from the tenants are sometimes not emphasised or delivered clearly enough and could result in the tenants being charged or facing difficulties. And as Alma reviewed, faults in the buildings such as boiler and heater not working are not fixed quickly. Fortunately, some tenants had technical abilities.
Overall, supportive but sometimes unresponsive. If you are independent then it is fine.

Don’t let the good reviews fool you, they are mainly from people who just moved in and getting you to sign is where Homemakers is good and friendly.
Once you are in don’t expect anything if you have issues, poor customer service and because not dealing with your issues in a reasonable manner is not enough don’t expect any form of understanding, compassion or humanity from them, they are just vampires here to suck your blood to the last drop. They deserve less than 1 star and I hope for the poor guys who just moved in and are happy to have a place to live that they won’t have any issue in their house or that they can change their revue after spending the winter without a functioning boiler and Homemakers coming with excuses as to why they didn’t fix it.

Fantastic Agency!
Having had bad experiences with lettings agencies and landlords in the past I was hesitant about renting again.
I found Homemaker Properties very helpful. They made the renting process simple and were quick to complete the paperwork for me.

This agency will sign a contract without any break clause to which if you end the tenancy early you will pay:
1) 750 GBP for advertisement.
2) Rent until a new tenant is found.
3) Minimum of 11 months.
They also do not take any of your circumstnces into consideration and insist on sucking your bank acount dry.
Typical act of being nice to you until you signed a contract and paid them the money. (No light bulb replacement in your room either)

I have been very cautious of using agents in the past after having a very bad experience with one in another city. I can't express how smoothly the process was and how attentive the staff were.

I recently arranged a viewing with Homemaker Properties, on the phone they were helpful & informative. They provided me with all the details I needed to provide as I am self-employed.
I received email confirmation the same day & a text & call on the day of viewing to confirm that I would still be attending.
On the viewing I was informed that they had taken on 3 other new properties matching my requirements & brought keys with them to show me the alternatives. I was provided with an application form which again was detailed with required documents.
I have taken one of the 4 properties, I was able to move in by the end of the week & thoughout the process I was updated by the staff & the automated system they use.
I have found the whole process with the Homemaker Property team 1000% stress free & the team are dedicated to helping their clients.

In spite of their quick and prompt response to complaints and inquiries , it generally takes them a long time to address the house repair issues properly. However, I would especially like to mention a very kind assistant lettings manager Roxana Ortega, who not only takes time to carefully go through the reported property problems, but also makes an effort to find and engage the right people to tackle them as quickly as possible.

Almost comically poor customer service.
1st mistake: Selling the property at the wrong price, and trying to up it after coming in for the signing of contracts. Naturally we laughed this off.
2nd mistake: Leaving the house and garden in a state from the last tenants.
3rd mistake: Not fixing the above point throughout the entire tenancy.
4th mistake: Charging exorbitantly high renewal fees
5th mistake: When moving out, locking us out of the house half way through the last day of the tenancy so we couldn't collect half our things before the exit inspection.
6th mistake: Charging us for 'cleaning' (despite us paying for a cleaner and a gardener before moving out), and despite us leaving the property in a better state than we found it.
7th mistake: Charging us for a 'cigarette burn' in the mattresses (none of us smoke...) and we have diligently used mattress protectors as requested by the agency, and paid for a replacement.
(Oh, I'll conveniently add that the 'charges' at the end of the tenancy equalled precisely the undervalue of the rent referred to in point 1...)
One of my old housemates stayed with them for a new tenancy, and again the room was an absolute tip with a disgusting mattress (which he's demanded by replaced).
Quite honestly the worst experience I've ever had with a letting agent. Save yourself the hassle, find someone else (there are bigger agencies with lower fees, and who will probably treat you better – it's not difficult!)

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. This company has no interest in the quality of your tenancy with them and as soon as your money is in their account your treatment quickly diminishes in quality. I notice a few reviews with 5 star have been done from current employees haha. Can't express how relieved I am to have finished my contract and move on from this horrific experience.

Appalling customer service, with out hot water for 3 weeks on and off, no oven for 4 days so far, they don't seem to really care, been accused being a lie. they seem more interested in arguing over telephone then solving simple issues. avoid at all costs.

The voice of experience: cover your back in every interaction you have. Record everything in writing, log everything, read everything, double check everything, believe nothing, question everything, sign nothing unless you are absolutely sure about the meaning and implications of what you are signing.
Take the time to familiarise yourself with tenancy law and regulations, it's worth it; and assert your rights with that knowledge!
The other Google reviews I have read do not surprise!

Horrendous experience. They don't answer mails, took them 1 month to replace a vacuum, house was handed super dirty, had to pay 100 pounds to have it cleaned. According to tenancy agreement they are obliged to give a written 24hr notice, they would turn up at the property just like that, one day they even forgot to lock the door and found the house unlocked when I got home from work. Most importantly, they will also try to trick you in all possible ways in order to get their hands on your security deposit. Never witnessed a more unprofessional behaviour in my life. You have been warned -stay away.

Hi there whoever you are reading this review. My advice for you is simple: RUN.
I wish i could give less than 1 star. Every 2 months I got a call from them saying I owe them money which I don't. They always find its a mistake but NEVER EVER apologised. The last time this happened I thought it was last because it did not happen for some time but today noo again with the calls. Even though I especially told them that I want all communication in writing, whether email or letter, etc. Absolutely disgusting treatment. As if they are the clients and not me.
I would not advise anyone to deal with them.

If possible I wouldn't even give them 1 star. If you were to enter into a tenancy agreement with this company you'll find that once they've got your money, they don't care. The house when I moved in was disgusting, took me 2 days to clean. I did not get chance to view the property beforehand, and when asked for the honest opinion of an advisor I was just quite blatantly lied to. If you have an issue and you report it to Homemaker, you can expect no response. If they do not like what you say they will quite simply ignore you. If you ring them, they'll say we'll get back to you, then won't. Then if you try to get out of a tenancy agreement because of what are quite disgusting conditions with the worst set of housemates, then guess what, you can't.
I cannot urge anyone strongly enough to stay well clear of this company. I do not have experience with many letting agencies, but I can not see how any could be worse.
