I am looking at the review provided by other tenants AND I am shock to wittness the reviews and what has happend to me, I have gone through Rent application with MAISON Estate and initial deposit paid. however we were not able to proceed the rent application as check hasnt gone through.NOW MAISON ESTATE refuse to pay my Initial Deposit. The office manager Gerda refuse to communicate .This is a disgrace. I Will never recommend this service to anyone in coventry. BE CAREFUL .DO NOT GO NEAR THIS ESTATE AGENT ….

We occupied a 1 bedroom flat with Maison estates for 2 years, it was the longest years of our life. Maison estates doesn’t do anything to fix problems within their house and expects you as a tenant to fix wear and tear in their own property. They don’t care about you as tenant nor your comfort in their property. We complained about heating and hot water throughout the whole 2 years but they decided to install a new boiler 2 months before the end of our tenancy. The property landlord don’t care about the tenants just like the agency that should protect your interest alongside the landlord, I will advice to run away from them.

We recently rented a property through Maison Estates, and I cannot praise them enough. I met Jay at the property for a viewing, which he had agreed to schedule at a later time because my wife was at work. Jay showed us the property and did a very good job of pointing out the positive aspects of the property ( if I was a homeowner, I would be rest assured that he will do his best to get my property rented to good tenants). If you ever consider working with them, be sure to carefully review the contract and get all unclear aspects, especially vague fee statements, in writing. When checking in, make sure to meticulously mark and note every issue or defect you find, as failing to do so might result in them taking advantage and withholding a significant portion of your deposit. I strongly advise against working with Lee Durno and Gerda based on my first encounter with them. My first encounter with Lee Durno and Gerda was when we went to collect the keys after paying a substantial amount in rent and deposit. However, upon stepping out of the door, Lee and Gerda insisted that we couldn't leave until we paid the remaining balance of just 10 pounds, which was due to an accounting error. It was a freezing January day, and my daughter was unwell. Despite having an Uber waiting for us, they caused a scene and stressed us out over such a small amount. It's worth noting that they refused to accept cash for this payment.
During the check-out process, Gerda attempted to overcharge us for various items such as redecoration (300 pounds really!?) and repairs for things that were already damaged when we checked in. I fought back, fortunately having documented everything meticulously, and won the deposit dispute. They were initially claiming around 1000 pounds, but I managed to reduce it to 359 pounds due to my comprehensive records.

The particulars were well presented and having left a message expressing a keen interest over a bank holiday weekend I was swiftly called by Jessica on the morning of the first business day and a viewing was arranged.
Some three weeks later referencing had been completed and we collected the keys. References were not entirely straightforward with my self employed status and my wife working for NHS. But we were well looked after and well guided through the whole process by Jay and Jessica. They made the whole thing much less stressful than it might have been and we were well looked after throughout.

The agent- Jay Patel was our guide to the house. He explained all details of the property during the viewing and was able to confirm that he had approved the application quickly. We had to wait for a month to enter the property, but we were made aware of this from start as the previous tenants were not moving until then. Other agencies would ask you to fill elaborated forms only to say that they couldn't accept the application. I don’t recommend this agency at all! They deliberately look for defects in the house 2 weeks after moving out, which no one can do about, and they want to ask for an amount that can be used to renovate the entire room. I find it completely outrageous, since we lived in this house for years without any problems, we were always fair to the agency! I’m sure I won’t let this go without saying. I will tell everyone I know. I’m totally disappointed.

It’s been a lovely experience with Maison Estate from the viewing to actual letting. The made the process really easy and always there to help out. Thanks to Sanjay who has always been friendly and positive, and to Lee and Gerda for seeing through the whole process and quick response. So I had a leak in my kitchen and I had to call. I was a little persistent because it was a bank holiday and I was not sure I was going to get a response. To my greatest surprise I got a call saying the maintenance will be coming in few hour to fix it. It was less than 1 hour, I got a call from the maintenance guy saying he is in front of the property to fix the leak. I was very pleased.

If youre looking to let a property then dont bother coming here. Theyre a bunch of liars who dont know anything. Overvalued my property rental income, when I questioned it, they convinced me they were right so i went along. The next day, I receive a LIST of amendments to make to my property???? We stated we were ready to let but they did not understand that. They had the audacity to tell me to make more changes when I said I was ready. They over inflated the price and now expected me to make all these costly changes to meet their stupid unrealistic quote. No idea why I wasnt told this on the first visit??? They gave me a high price to attract me and gain customers, but once they had my keys they wanted to reduce the price. No wonder they were so desperate for me to sign their contract. I would have went with them even if the quote was lower so their plan didnt work! Some honesty would be nice. Now i know why its a small company

Recently I have had been looking for properties to move in and I must say it’s a very hectic process. During this search I came across Maison estates via right move and got connected to Mr Sanjay, I must say though due to some personal reasons we didn’t manage to secure a property but he was highly professional yet approachable answered all of the queries with diligence and was very vigilant with response time. I chose this agency to sell my flat & I have bought and sold properties in the past so I have experience of estate agents. Ben at Maison Estates was friendly, professional and great at communicating from the very start. Unlike other agents who lose interest after you have signed up with them, this agent was brilliant throughout the process. He updated me very regularly, even if it was just to let me know that he hadn't heard back from my buyer or solicitor etc. He was also responsive and always rang me or emailed me back when I had instigated the communication. I have never had such great service in any of my conveyancing in the past and I would definitely use Maison Estates in the future should I need. We have just moved in to a property managed by Maison Estates and we couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received. When we enquired about the house, Pat was out to show it to us that very afternoon and couldn’t do enough for us in terms of answering questions or tweaking things about the house we wanted done. They kept in constant contact throughout sorting all the paperwork so we knew where we stood at all times. On move in day there was a slight mix up with one of the sets of keys and the property manager was at our door in under ten minutes to rectify it for us. Can’t recommend these guys enough!!!

Been renting a flat from this agency, we got the keys went inside and the flat was in a disgusting state. Clear evidence of it not being cleaned up after refurbishment in the bathroom and mouldy dishwasher tablet inside the dishwasher. Since then we've had issues with damp to which the response was to air out the property and keep the temperatures warm (DUH). Mould to the point it started moving onto our personal items. A tumble dryer that left burn marks on our clothes. Water underneath the flooring.
People working in the office do seem nice and polite but all issues have been reported and its taking multiple months to sort anything out. Completely unprofessional.

I and my wife relocated to United Kingdom from Nigeria and in our quest to look for a house to rent we met Mr. Pat ( a staff of Maison Estate) and our struggle in looking for a house to rent ended the day we spoke with him. Definitely would give no stars if possible because this letting agency is the worst!!! They are rip-offs and extort you for money. They make up random figures about the condition of how the house was left in order to get more money for their Incompetent agency, for example charging £500 for cutting grass and fixing minor wears and tears. Or lying about is losing keys when they were left in the property. As students or anyone, it’s absurd! The list can honestly go on, but THE WORST AGENCY EVERRR! AVOID AT ALL COST!

I have been renting my place from Maison Estates for over 5 years now and I only had good experiences. I had a few issues and misshaps along the way like locking myself out or boilers/showers breaking. But anyone I spoke to at Maison's to resolve these issues, they have always been polite, very helpful and understanding in resolving the issues or in assisting me, and all has been resolved in a timely manner also.

An online agent struggled to sell my house as they obviously over valued it. After 3 valuations Maison Estates offered the most realistic one and sold it within 10 days. Loved their adverts and they conducted all the viewings and kept me updated with developments right up until completion. They are now selling my friends house. I favoured the fact that the company directors were dealing with me direct. Faultless service and I highly recommend this company.

I love Maison Estates, i have been in the lettings business for around 15+ years and handle my portfolio as an arm chair landlord and that's what I love about Maison Estates, not only do they handle absolutely everything from tenancy agreements, vetting tenants, sending me the deposit and first months rent within 48 hours and then managing all the aspects of management and move-ins etc, they do it all in a hassle free manner, they always contact me, i never ever have once had to chase them, unlike so many "so called" letting agents. For a full management service I am paying a lot less now then I was previously, they are extremely proficient!
