The guy showed us around, so we arranged a second viewing for a family member to come and take a look from a tradesman's perspective. However, he didn't show up. We called him, and he said he forgot and kept saying he wouldn't be long. We waited outside the house for 45 minutes but eventually left. Very unprofessional

We decided to go with Jessops as soon as we met James, he was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local area, we knew the house sale would be in capable hands, and we were right!
Jessops kept us informed and always got straight back to us when we had questions.

Jessops is a fantastic family run business that really go the extra mile. Whether that be remembering you and your family after a few month of the chain being quite or being available night and day to answer queries. James at Jessops has bought and sold 4 of our homes over the years and he has always got a connection within other estate agencies or solicitors and I think that makes the service that much better as he always knows who to contact to get a answer !

I would absolutely recommend James & Ben at jessops.
Great job, very efficient & kept in regular contact of all progress right up to completion date.
Very friendly & approachable & nothing was ever too much trouble.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use Jessops again.
They also manage a rental property for me & that is managed mainly by Ben, who always goes the extra mile to make sure things run smoothly…

Just sold our house through Jessops and cannot recommend them highly enough. James and Ben go the extra mile in what they do. Their personal touch from putting the house up for sale, viewings, liaison with buyers, solicitors etc is second to none. You always feel informed and have a reasoned understanding of where everything is up to. Have used other estate agents in the past but not again. They were highly recommended to us and have no hesitation about recommending them to others. 5 ?? service!

I recently needed to sell a house in Lancaster while living in North Wales. This meant that I would need to rely on my agent to manage the process even more closely than they normally would. I needn't have worried; James did so and went well beyond my expectations.
Recognising the difficulty of constantly travelling up to sort out issues, James took this on for me, organising a roof repair, damp inspection, gas safety check, EPC and even personally intervened to restore the power when my energy company mistakenly turned off the supply. Quite an extraordinary level of service.
But that wasn't all. Before appointing Jessops I had contacted 6 other Lancaster Estate Agents, shortlisting 3 for interview. None of the other agents demonstrated James's commercial awareness and were simply complacent; happy to charge more to achieve less. The price ceiling for my property was, I was told, £129,000. James disagreed, suggesting that this ceiling had been in place for a year and he could achieve more.
True to his word, within 4 days of being appointed he had secured a buyer at £138,500, smashing the estimate of all other agents!
James's charm and can-do approach, along with his deep knowledge of the Lancaster and Morecambe market, make him without doubt the best agent in the area and I have no hesitation in recommending him without reservation. Moreover, I would suggest that the other Lancaster agents would do well to take a leaf out of his book!

We recently both sold and purchased property using Jessops Estate Agents of Morecambe. Our 3 bed. semi sold in four days and when we struggled to find the right property Jessops found the perfect bungalow for us to complete our housing quest. We would highly recommend Jessops for their enthusiasm and professionalism.
