A year back, I rented a property in Amersham via Savills Beaconsfield and left them a very good review. Unfortunately, I have relocated due to an emergency when my family member had covid pneumonia following which the property was emptied and returned, it has been over a month since the keys have been handed over and a new person named Rhea Cyrus was suddenly put in charge of handling things. Not only that, but the property was let to others within 24 hours of my keys being returned and I also received photos / videos of the property post having been emptied by the law firm I appointed to do this after having left the UK. It now turns out that Miss Cyrus keeps sending me emails filled with excuses and other unappealing communications and the agency has no intentions of returning my deposit. Out of courtesy, I had offered for them to keep cleaning fees should they not be happy with the cleaners hired by my law firm; however, they are making excuses insisting that there are 'damages' that need repairs which they 'have not yet figured out after a whole month of having let the property to others already' and are sitting on my deposit. The property was rented unfurnished and I was a single occupant who spent most of the time out for the 1 year that it was rented for - I have received photos and videos showing no damages as such. I am extremely disappointed. I have previously rented through various other agencies such as Strutt & Parker, Hadlands, etc and for a much longer period too but no other company has ever given me such a difficult time as Savills. I sincerely regret having rented through them because now, I am literally stuck having to deal with their nonsense everyday despite having left the country months back! Worst letting agents ever! Be careful for you may never see your deposit back either! I never expected such poor service and the unprofessional conduct from such a well reputed company, I guess I was just wrong!... Read more

I would just like to say what a fabulous, professional experience I have had working with Savills during the sale of my Mother's house. Right from the first phone call, on day one, to the rapid eventual sale I have felt that I am working with a great team at the Beaconsfield office. I have met and spoken to almost all of them at some point and they are so friendly and professional. Meeting Chris at the beginning was like a breath of fresh air, the advice given to us about selling our house was so Informative.
