Rented a property through Jackson Howe and was made to feel unwelcome by the landlord and their family. Following this began to receive calls from JH suggesting and asking if I should leave early based on 'subsidence' in the property and my safety, subsidence was known at the start of the rental period and didn't noticeable change during the three months I stayed. After a matter of days I began to feel so uncomfortable that I asked to mutually end the lease agreement with the landlord after three months, when my minimum rent period was six months, to leave from the place that I stayed at. I am not sure if JH was working with the landlord to get me to move on or whether they were an unfortunate and unknowing part of the landlord (and landlords family) to get me out of the property. To avoid this agency as much as possible, I have been asking them to rent a house since February, the last time they told me that they were sending me a video of a house a month ago and something I am still waiting for. I haven't received anything since. It's not even worth a star.... Read more

Avoid for selling. Totally understaffed. Failed to sell our place for many weeks, despite undervaluing. Replacement agent sold it almost straight away, with multiple bids, despite starting at a higher asking price.... Read more
