Oliver and his Knight Frank team offered us a discreet marketing service which secured us a chain free buyer at our guide price. The process has been well managed and their excellent communication has addressed points throughout the sale before they could become a problem. Their professionalism has shone head and shoulders above the other agents in town
Despite requests not to do so, Knight Frank staff continued parking on our private driveway, thereby blocking access to properties on our estate. Such “me first” behaviour is in stark contrast to the considerate manners of the people who live here. We ended up notifying the police about harassment and some Knight Frank staff have been permanently excluded.
Cached web pages show that the property Knight Frank manages was advertised to let for nearly 5 months, in which time the rate was dropped until finally it was advertised as under offer. The new tenants must be delighted with Knight Frank, at having bagged a bargain. At the same time, new tenants moved into an identical property just over 2 weeks after it was put on the market by another agent at more than 8% above the rate last advertised by Knight Frank. Another identical property has just been let in less than 3 weeks. What does all this say about Knight Frank’s marketing capability?
A month ago we had to ask the owner of the property to pay the annual maintenance charge, as Knight Frank had not done so.
We deal with 3 other agents in Beaconsfield; in our view they are head, shoulders and knees above Knight Frank.

We have rented out our property through Hamptons Beaconsfield for many years, the service we have received from Lisa Pitts has been the best we have experienced. She displays an excellent work ethic and is a credit to Hamptons.
We recently let a property through Hamptons and we expected better from this well-known agency. A couple of problems arose when we moved in and these were not dealt with in a professional manner considering the high fees Hamptons charges. We are, however, happy with the approach from the management team.
The service I received from Doug and the team at Romans Beaconsfield was well and above what I expected. Doug was prompt in forwarding me any information regarding the purchase of my property. He was friendly throughout the process, and managed to keep me calm during stressful points within the purchase. I was very touched upon receiving a phone call from Doug to check to see I was settled and happy within my new home, something I haven't experienced with other estate agents. Below average from start the finish. Did not add any value at all to the sales process. Their service after the sale was terrible and their post sale team would email me totally inaccurate and old information by the way of updates. To make matters worse I only heard from them once the completion was delayed and again when we did finally complete. Most noticeable because they got their commission. They also tried and failed to sell another property I owned but were more interested in trying to sell the property next door to mine during my open day. We definitely avoid Romans again in the future.
