Had a challenging two years with Lang Llewllwyn as a student. They appear to exist solely to benefit the landlord at the expense of student tenants. Along with general poor communication, many errors and slow responses to most problems, they deceptively tried to convince us to switch to a less favourable bills package during the energy crisis, claiming they had our best interests at heart. Following our first tenancy, they took over two months to return our deposit which, in my opinion, breached the tenancy agreement. Following our second tenancy, they attempted to claim an additional £300 on top of cleaning fees for issues that they later admitted were unfair, clearly showing a lack of accuracy in their procedures. Maintenance work was usually carried out by subpar contractors, one even ‘fixing’ a leaky and damp wall using spray paint. The team are clearly overworked as they manage hundreds of properties, leading to ineffective service. Overall we felt a severe lack of respect, if you’re a decent landlord please don’t use them....
