26th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Hi all, reviewing this company home cloud and appreciation and gratitude of Gemma, she been helpful, polite and responsive to aspects of working along side as sub contractor to carry out various task and plumbing, she has an understanding of works and knowledge. Been great communication with liaising with myself and tenants to arrange access to jobs, and after care. I speak as a contractor and tenants I’ve met have said she a great asset to the company and enjoy having her as my contact to deal with home cloud clients. Absolute delight. Look forward to carrying our relationship in the 2022 year as she progresses to be a great co-ordinator to myself and tenants… Go Gemma

10th Oct 2024 (13 days ago)After a very slow start with another estate agent, I swapped the sale of my late mum's house to Stratton Creber and I have to say that Stefan, Callum and the team have been brilliant. They really pushed the sale online and on the high street and it was a really short period before a buyer was found. They have stayed in complete contact all the way through the process, and have answered any queries I've had immediately. I highly recommend Stratton Creber - a personable service, with all aspects of the sale explained fully. Stef said he'd sell it for me within weeks and he (and Callum) did!
5th Sep 2024 (7 weeks ago)Update to response My child was a tennant through your agency, I was guarantor. The students had a large amount of their deposit withheld, for cleaning fees, even after the inspection said a light dusting was only required. This review is no different to the reviews others have left. This company is corrupt. My child rented a property whilst at uni, we cleaned the property, purchased new mop / bucket cleaning supplies etc. The house was spotless. When the letting agent checked the property they said it was cleaned to a high standard and maybe a light dust needed. I took before and after photos, the property was disgusting when my child moved in. After the students moved out, Townsend's withheld £200.00 of their deposit for 'cleaning fee'. Which is illegal under the 2019 Tenancy Act. I requested their after photos, proving their evidence of the standard of cleaning needed, which they didn't have and said new tenants were in the property. The property is a tiny 2 bedroom house, with mould. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope other students who rent from you are aware how you behave. And, as others who have left reviews, this seems normal practice with this company. We started proceedings with solicitors, the costs involved are very high, unfortunately.
10th Oct 2024 (13 days ago)They are lovely, friendly and family run agent. Nothing is too much for them and we felt very nervous about the whole thing and they reassured us every step of the way. 19th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)This company is our new managing agents and I cannot believe the extremely efficient, polite service I received as soon as I called about my washing machine which had broken down. The following day, an engineer was sent to me, machine fully broken. Engineer wrote a report, three days later I had a brand new, great brand of washing machine delivered and fitted. I was kept up to date with all details including delivery times via text or phone calls. None of the flats I have lived in before have ever been so caring and professional and I cannot recommend Stretton's property management highly enough. Chris was the gentleman who took care of everything so a huge thank you to him. What. Breath of fresh air !!!!! ?????????????????????
27th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)I did appoint JBrown to sell my property in Bromley and I was very happy at the beginning about the way they approached me and how they worked to get the property on the market quickly. Soon after they changed quite a lot in terms of communication, Zara used to reply randomly ( basically when she got a chance ) whilst Komal (owner)never replied to my emails.( she should learn how to deal with people). Despite that was a clear sight of a lack of professionalism, I left things going ahead smoothly. Zara kept me informed about the buyer's interest in seeing the property and I arranged access all the time. Then I had to chase her to receive feedback from customers, she never made them aware of the outcome or sending any REPORT. Even though I left them to carry on their job. They eventually got 2 offers and let me know to appoint a solicitor which I did. Both times buyers pulled out and she never contacted me to let me know, on the contrary, I had to call to find out what happened. I am still not sure if she really received any offers because I never received proof of that. The 12-week agreement came to an end and I previously let them know by email that I would not renew the mandate( no response at all as usual). Finally, I chased them again to remove my property from the market but they either removed it or replied to my emails. After 2 weeks of waiting for them I decided to contact Rightmove, and Zoopla etc explain the matter and they removed the property immediately. This morning magically I received an email From Zara saying that my property has now been removed! You are a team of liars, hopefully, people will be away from such an unprofessional “Estate Agency”.. I lost time but you lost quite a lot of money. That's what you deserve!!!

11th Jun 2024 (19 weeks ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

Any little queries were dealt with immediately and we were kept up to date throughout the process. Will was a pleasure to be in contact with and very professional at all times. 11th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)Had a challenging two years with Lang Llewllwyn as a student. They appear to exist solely to benefit the landlord at the expense of student tenants. Along with general poor communication, many errors and slow responses to most problems, they deceptively tried to convince us to switch to a less favourable bills package during the energy crisis, claiming they had our best interests at heart. Following our first tenancy, they took over two months to return our deposit which, in my opinion, breached the tenancy agreement. Following our second tenancy, they attempted to claim an additional £300 on top of cleaning fees for issues that they later admitted were unfair, clearly showing a lack of accuracy in their procedures. Maintenance work was usually carried out by subpar contractors, one even ‘fixing’ a leaky and damp wall using spray paint. The team are clearly overworked as they manage hundreds of properties, leading to ineffective service. Overall we felt a severe lack of respect, if you’re a decent landlord please don’t use them.
11th Jun 2024 (19 weeks ago)The service I received from James and Stef was first class from start to finish and I can't recommend them highly enough. Communication was consistently excellent and I particularly appreciated the prompt feedback after each viewing. This information is surely of great interest to every vendor but my previous experience of other agents has sometimes shown an unacceptable tardiness in passing on this information. James and Stef managed to combine an appropriately personal touch with great professionalism so that I felt well cared for and absolutely confident that they had my best interests at heart throughout. So thank you both - you're doing a great job and I wish you a bright and prosperous future.
