Very disappointed. We went along to the show homes with genuine intend to purchase a property at the Kingsmere estate after seeing some deals advertised on their website. We were particularly interested in the part exchange aspect, and stamp duty paid with a £5K personalisation deal. When we arrived, the sales staff had very little motivation. When we told him we are looking for the deals advertised on their website, the salesman immediately clarified that the deals would not be possible if we are looking to part exchange our home. Which has taken away the very thing that attracted us to be there in the first place. We were looking for a house called the Willow on plot 56, advertised for £460K, which has not been completed yet, so they've showed us another house build to the same specifications near by. The fit and finish seems very poor, and the house that has yet to be completed was so far gone as far as building progress is concern, that we wouldn't be able to personalise it anyway. Although it's not the most expensive property on sale there, £460K is not a small amount of money, the point of buying a new build is that we would be able to choose what we like, and to be told "No" for every single thing we went there for was very disheartening. My wife and I have decided that we would do better going else where. Unless you have the cold hard cash, and don't want any deals, then I'd suggest you do the same. Overall, a vey bad experience....
