They tried charging me £93.60 to change two light bulbs in the flat after we left.
We left new light bulbs for them but they were adamant it cost them £93.60 to switch two spotlight bulbs.
Luckily the DPS sided with me and massively reduced the charge after disputing but come on - on what planet is it reasonable to try charge £93.60 to change two bulbs...

I rented an apartment from LivingSpace a few months back. I am very happy with the service I received from them right from the start. There were few communication issues in the beginning but the moment it was informed to them they were able to rectify it without any delay. Also their property management team provides a very prompt service addressing any issues reported within no time. I am very happy with the service I got as of now and look forward to continue receiving the same level of service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had an experience renting as bad as we have endured with living spaces and Kingston properties. The estate agent managing our move in lied to us about a leak and the repairs of this. It took over 6 months after our move in date for things to finally be started for the repairs. Everytime we emailed we were ignored , when we rang we would be promised follow ups but no one ever got back to us. Managers would answer the phone and claim there were no managers in to take our calls. A manager came to view the property and take photos of the issues but never got back to us. When I called to follow this up, he was extremely rude & acted like he had no idea what I was talking about.
We are experiencing another leak and a mould escalation that again is being ignored. Repairs reported over 5 months ago that again have been ignored which is damaging their property but still nothing.
Staff are extremely unhelpful and don't share anything regarding progress of complaints or issues The management team have shown no empathy or any type of effective communication during our tennancy and seem to not understand the stress this can cause their customers but it seems like they do not care.
If they did send contractors for work it would never be communicated and they would turn during my working hours or when out prolonging repairs further.
We followed the complaint process when we first moved due to issues we were not told about and nothing was ever followed up, contact from us was once again ignored. They really don't care unless it's to do with money. The property ombudsman has been made aware because our experience has been that bad, legal advice was sought throughout all of this which advised us they are breaking their side of contractual agreements and the law. Stay well clear if you are wanting to rent in Newcastle

My property received offers on the two occasions it was marketed, within just days. The first sale fell through through no fault of living spaces and during the second sale, which completed, the sales team were proactive and communicative. The sales was then passed to Business Manager, Vikki Higginbottom, whose praises I cannot sing highly enough. Vikki, was an integral part of the progression of the sale and without her careful and timely calls and negotiations, the sale outcome may have been quite different. She was very supported of my position and was extremely tolerant of my frustrations with the sale process. If I have the choice again, I would only choose living spaces to sell my city centre property, given the high quality of service and personability I experienced.

Definitely the best agents I have rented with in Newcastle over 7 years of renting from 7 different agents! Everything was clear and easy, including reporting problems. When I have reported fixes they have actually been properly dealt with rather than just 'patched up' to get by which is a first! Would definitely recommend these agents to other renters.

I've been reporting a broken heater for more than a month now, no calls back, no updates and every time I call, its the same excuse.
I Definitely do not recommend this agency to handle with your property maintenance, the chances of the matter going legal are huge.
