7th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)They managed to find a buyer for our house which we had failed to sell on numerous occasions before. We got a price that enabled us to purchase another property with some money left over. They liaised very well between us and the buyers over queries we had and kept us informed. My only gripe was the continuity of personel as we had several different people involved at different times and I would have preferred one contact person throughout.

She helped guide & advise us until we had a buyer. She is an absolute asset to Sarah Mains & goes over and beyond. Kelly was brilliant also once we had a buyer, she kept on top of everything, verifying/acknowledging/negotiationing on my behalf, simply great. Thank you Jane our progresser what can I say, simply remarkable, a very similar person to myself, I can not give Jane enough credit for her outstanding tenacity, patience & sheer determination to getting to the bottom of things & finally helping us get over the line. Donna once again thank you for helping me too. All the team have been remarkable a huge credit to Sarah Mains, Well done ???? Todays our moving in day and we are both grateful, elated & relieved ???? 29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)I was living in 17 kingfisher court Gateshead. Never ever go for that property. Both agency and owner are unresponsive and greedy for your deposit. The property looks good from view perspective but it’s not maintained deeply. I faced lots of issues and quality of furniture, broken bed, chairs, pathetic sofa. And living spaces dint listen to any repair. Bulbs were old and flickering. And at the end they will take your full deposit.

29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)Struggled to get anywhere with maintenance issues. Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about. I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.
18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
