I dealt with James Newton at InterCounty and I can’t praise him enough for his professionalism and friendliness. I would not hesitate to recommend him or the agency to anyone wanting to sell their home. Couldn’t have been more helpful. It has taken a long time for our sale to happen through no fault of InterCounty. Everything seemed to be against us but Jennie and the team handled everything superbly - always keeping us informed every inch of the way. Jennie went out of her way to get me regular updates when all seemed to be going pear shaped. I had terrible experience with them. They exploit your interest in a property and make sure that you either compete with yourself in making higher offers by making you believe that there are other imaginary buyers who are keen to buy the same property or they will sell it to someone else who shows lesser interest and paying the same amount as you. Instead of facilitating your purchase, they use your offer as a tool for other people to make higher offers and pick and choose between people at their whim ignoring all your efforts for a couple of more quids. I can really recommend Intercounty Harlow & Sawbridgeworth. I had less than 1 month to look for another property in the area around stansted airport. When I found the apartment I am currently living in. I made an enquiry to get some information and do a viewing. On the day of the enquiry I got already a phone call of Alex to tell me more about the property and to ask me when I was available to do a viewing. The viewing was booked for the week after. The viewing itself was done by Nicola she was very friendly, professional and open for any questions I had about the apartment. I did put in an offer and again in a very short time I got the news that the apartment was mine. The full process after it was also done very professionally and quick so I could move-in in less than 2 weeks after the news of getting the apartment. Alex, Neve and Nicola and the rest of the team were very helpful, professional and open towards any questions and problems in the whole process of hunting for a property to rent and I cannot recommend them enough! Can’t fault the lettings team at Old Harlow at all, right from the start the team (Nicola / Kelsey) were so kind and communicative in helping me get moved in. On moving out, Alex was great in helping me vacate my rental and I felt fully supported throughout the process, and the kindness and respect I was shown made it a really positive experience. I experienced some issues with the property management team after leaving and Alex’s communication has really helped while waiting for a deposit return. Very much appreciated... Read more
