A very Professional team that appear to know the market very well indeed. Very straight forward and tell you how it is with honesty and that was important to us . I have to say they obviously had buyers in their portfolio wanting to buy our home in our location as we had two offers on the table on same day viewing and sold our home in 2 hours living on town park Harlow .

What can I say. I haven't been the easiest of clients due to our sale falling through a few times and us picking some dodgy houses to buy as well, but Peter, Ted, Cemil and Jason have been fantastic. Any normal person would avoid my calls with the amount of times that I phone them, but no, these guys are always happy to help and go that extra mile. The team always give me their honest opinion, and I can't thank them enough for it. They are truly a team that cares about their clients

After a previously bad experience with an estate agents, I felt that Peter, Cemil and Ted really went above and beyond to help my purchase go through as smoothly as possible. I cannot recommend the team at Intercounty Old Harlow enough. From our first interaction they were knowledgable, supportive and took the time to listen and share their market insights with us. Within a few viewings they had sold our flat for the price we wanted. They handled the whole process incredibly - even in the face of huge pressure thanks to the Stamp Duty Holiday deadline (which we met, thanks to their hard work!) They were always in our corner and quick to respond whenever we had a question or concern. Undoubtedly the best estate agents in the area - huge thanks to Peter, Cemil and the rest of of the team!

I loved the experience with intercounty. I came to Harlow, didn't manage to get the time to get a view. Mollie was kind enough to go in to the flat and send me a video of the flat which I picked online. was quite sceptical. when I get to the place I found it perfect. Everything is in order indeed.
Paper work went smooth. staff are friendly and flexible.

I have been dealing with Intercounty for a while now and they have always been first class.
There had been some changes to key staff recently and I was worried the high standards I had got use to may drop off but Dan and his team were excellent and maintained the personal approach that has always been so important to me whist offering advice where needed.
I was kept informed of progress and received fast responses when contacting the branch.
William went out of his way to help, especially during the viewing process, and Maxine was quick to take ownership of issues and see them through until I was satisfied .
Very pleased overall and happy the high standards have been maintained.

I really cannot recommend the team at Intercounty Harlow enough! What a fantastic group of people who are genuinely so passionate about what they do and are so so so supportive to clients.
Cemil was fantastic from the get go and well honestly Peter has just been simply amazing. From checking in, to passing information and at times even doing the job of other professionals!! Never once unwilling or not happy to help - nothing seemed too much to them. Without the support and endless help from these my sale and purchase would not have happened. (Ted was also brilliant - I must have spoken to him 10+ on his first day and each time he was helpful and professional. A great addition to the team!)
I honestly can’t thank these guys enough and I will be recommending to everyone!!

Whilst Intercounty lettings may not be the cheapest letting agent on the market (others will definitely try to undercut them), I wouldn't change. They have a dedicated call centre for dealing with letting issues (not just one person in a busy estate agent office), they have reliable and responsive tradespeople to deal with issues if they arise, and in the most part are responsive and professional in their communications. Obviously this can depend on the specific property manager you are dealing with, but they appear review their staff effectiveness and deal with issues if they arise.
I would definitely recommend Intercounty Lettings to anyone looking for hassle free property management. I will use them again in the future.

Me and my boyfriend are first time renters and were looking for a place we could move into quick. Intercounty did exactly that! We were moved in within a month of viewing the property which was exactly what we wanted!
Mollie at Intercounty was so helpful during our viewing and moving in. She was so nice, super quick to respond to messages regarding any questions we had and was just helpful all round. If we end up moving again I'll be asking for Mollie! Thank you Mollie!
I also want to quickly mention William at Intercounty too! He helped us view a property before the one we moved into and helped us with the move into our current flat too. Thank you!
The day we moved in we were welcomed into our flat with a cute welcome box including some snacks, essentials (hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes) and more!
I would recommend Intercounty to everyone!

Recently rented out a property in Sawbridgeworth. Did consider other agents but as they were the closest decided to give them a try. Dan and Mollie were very professional and we had a lot of potential tenants very quickly but for various reasons some didn't stack up.
However we have found what I hope are some good ones. Communications from Intercounty were very good and fast response to queries.

Terrible service. As a tenant, I constantly have to chase the agents. It took 2 months to get some spare keys, 6 months to renew a renting contract, they don't tell you when part of a deposit has to be refund due to a change of the regulation and so far still waiting for the rest of the deposit to be secured. However when they need something it has to be done immediately, like paying the £500 if admin fees.

We were told by the Harlow team a cash buyer was interested in our property so we dropped the price by 15K as they said this would be a quick sell and we have already been accepted on another property and they knew this.
After four weeks I chased and they casually informed us that actually we are now having to wait because the buyer is getting a part mortgage which is slowing down the process. The first time we had heard about that! The lack of communication has been awful, we are constantly told we will know more on a certain date and then we then chase them on that date, this then gets pushed back with more excuses!
This should not have taken 7 weeks when they said it would be a quick sale, they should not have lied about this being a cash buyer or at least told us the circumstances had changed.
We are constantly having to chase them and it has started to become quite stressful especially as this is a service we are paying for.
I feel let down and not supported. I would not recommend at all and have told all friends and family to avoid!

Professional with a human touch
We have used intercounty to let our property for a couple of years now and I have to say I have never had any problems in dealing with this excellent company. It is not just well-run, it is also made up of professional, friendly staff.
The lettings team is managed by Ricci and credit to her and her team they always go a step further to ensure they are always on hand to give great support and to ensure complete customer satisfaction to the highest level.
I am extremely pleased to recommend their services to anybody who wants a hassle-free relationship with a modern and competitive Estate agency.
I will point to some of the negative references on here that they only have 1 review so I really do find it hard to believe they are real.

An outstanding Estate Agents and so glad we put or Sale through these guys. Brandon and the team were always available to talk to and kept hot on the heels of Solicitors and putting the right amount of pressure on 3rd parties when needed. Also Ghobad is a great IFA who went over and above what he needed to even though I got quite stressed out it didn't ruffle his feathers and was professional and friendly throughout the transaction.

Avoid at all costs, if I could give them no stars I would! They don't complete the inspection checks as promised and look after your property. Do not use their recommended conveyancing service premier property lawyers as they are totally incompetent.

Worst ever agency I have seen, they charge you for doing a check out inspection £120.00, don't do repairs when reported, took off our £347.00 for damages that where made up while the check out report from the so called independent company, said the house was left in a "good and tidy condition"
We felt discriminated they kept asking for our immigration documents every time, while we had submitted to them, 1 month before moving out they started looking for stupid reasons to keep our deposit. My advice is stay away from this agency.

Awful customer service. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. The manager at this branch has been a complete pain to deal with. We have had to chase her several times for a response and when we do finally get one she comes across as very unhelpful and rude on the phone. Good luck to anyone who goes with them as their fees are also extremely high and unrealistic. No other estate agents have treated us this way. AVOID!!

This agent has a raft of huge fees that cannot be avoided when starting a tenancy, renewing a lease, or even checking out. They also assist the landlord in attempting to keep as much deposit as possible before you eventually lose the will to live. Locally known as Interc*nty. Avoid.

This agent is not fair. They have a lot of undercover fees. My experience When I did sign my tenancy with them, They make harder day by day and day give me lot of stress and headaech to being peckish. Everybody need to be carefull with them, because They not that nice, how they show up.

After having our property valued we had a consistent amount of prospective buyers to view, with no time wasters , which is a great advantage to sellers like us who work 5 days a week.
We had 2 offers within 1-2 weeks of having it on the market, I got regular feedback on all our viewing which is a must.
I found the staff both friendly and professional and would recommend them to all my friends and family.
